The best cover I have researched recently. (1) Completely waterproof, and also bed bug proof and it seems everything proof! (2) Covers all 6 sides of mattress and (3) Soft terry top. Cannot yet provide comment on durability or how it performs after washing - brand new now. No noise of vinyl because it is vinyl free and the soft terry top is very comfortable. But so very happy with it that we have been trying to purchase more and not available in Twin XL size.

These are great! It's extremely hard to find sheets or protectors for Twin XL beds, and when you do they're so expensive you can't afford them! I'm so glad to have found them on Amazon! It kept them affordable and makes it easy to keep the mattresses clean and safe as well as protect me (I have asthma and sensitive skin) and keep me safe! Thank you! They do fit with extra space and after washing them they were still baggy, but we have adjustable beds so I'm glad they have extra space so they don't rip when the bed moves. I'm sure if you dried them carefully in a warm dryer that they might tighten up some. We wash and dry ours very carefully because of my sensitive skin and my asthma so if they've shunk any loss is not noticeable! But we LOVE OURS!!

This mattress cover is essentially a bag. This is good for keeping the mattress clean. It's not so good for putting it on and taking it off. In order to do it, the mattress must be propped up vertically against a wall, which can be challenging for elderly folks. There is a Youtube video demonstrating the technique.

We ordered a TWIN XL but it seemed long, even for an XL. Works fine but pretty baggy on the mattress.
