eSUN ASA Filament 1.75mm, Weather Resistant 3D Printer Filament for Outdoor Functional Parts, 1KG Spool 3D Printing Filament for 3D Printers, Black

Prints absolutely superbly using bambu studio generic ASA settings. Some parts still need a small brim to keep them stuck down. But very impressed.

I have been using eSUN filament for 7 years. It’s very consistent in quality and gives a great finish.

I have been using this same brand of ASA for a while now and never had a problem once I dialled it in. Used for functional applications and car parts.

The spool arrived and looked okay from first glance. I usually transfer the ESUN filament to a Bambu spool. BUT they've changed the core diameter so you can no longer rip the cardboard sides off and transfer over. SO, I used a spool winder which is something I've done lots of times. Halfway through the transfer the spool was really, REALLY badly wound (i.e. it would not have been any good in a machine like this) and jammed. This snapped the filament and now I've got about 50% of the spool sitting there. I'e bought plenty of ESUN filament in the past but I think this is the last. Shocking quality and there are plenty of other options out there. £20 down the drain, don't waste your time or money.

Had some inconsistent prints on the firat metre or so of the spool, and then it got corrected. Maybe some moisture on this portion or something. The petg is as expected, decent adhesion on all surfaves and nice glossy finish. Might become my everyday filament.

Great product worked well and the quality was spot on. For reference the filament well in my P1S Bambu Kab 3D printer 5/5.

esun filiment, wouldn't use any other, does the job very very well, I usually use ASA or nylon in my V3 KE

Heel goed filament, wel een tijdje moeten experimenten met parameters. Een nozzle van 0.6 en temperatuur van 280°C in combinatie met een bedtemperatuur van 110°C werkt het beste bij mij. Bij lagere nozzle temperaturen bleek de print niet sterk te zijn, heel groot verschil! Ik ga terug dezelfde bestellen!

El filamento eSUN ASA es una excelente opción que a mi me encanta, ya no solo por sus cualidades, si no por el acabado que da a las piezas. Se imprime de forma bastante estable, con buena adhesión entre capas y un acabado mate muy profesional. Además, resiste bien la exposición al sol y la lluvia, sin deformarse ni perder color con el tiempo. Viene muy bien empaquetado al vacío con una pequeña bolsa de silica. A TENER MUY ENCUENTA: ❓No imprimir con AMS, puede que funciones bien pero tienes muchas posibilidades de tener atasco. ❓Imprimir con una impresora cerrada, y evitas las corrientes de aire, el mas mínimo cambio de temperatura te puede salir mal la impresión. Pros: ✅ Gran resistencia a la intemperie y a los rayos UV, perfecto para exteriores. ✅ Excelente calidad de impresión, capas limpias y consistentes. ✅ Buena adhesión entre capas y en la cama caliente. ✅ Acabado mate elegante, sin necesidad de mucho postprocesado. ✅ Menor deformación (warping) que otros ASA del mercado. Contras: ⚠️ Necesita temperaturas altas de impresión (recomendable usar impresora cerrada). ⚠️ Tiene un olor algo fuerte durante la impresión, conviene ventilar bien el área, aunque yo he notado nada con esta marca. ⚠️ Imprimir sin AMS CONCLUSIÓN: Un filamento robusto, estable y duradero, perfecto para piezas funcionales o decorativas en exteriores. Si buscas algo resistente al sol y la lluvia, este ASA de eSUN no te decepcionará. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. 👌
