We love Nancy Tillman. - Our daughter was giving a Nancy Tillman book as a baby "On the Night You Were Born" and it had been a staple favorite for bedtime. As our daughter has gotten older and she had been sleeping in her own bed she would ask the question before she would sleep, "How will I know you love me? I will miss you." So I'd always tell her that her heart is made of half of mine and half of her dad's and no matter what it is always there. So seeing this book, I knew I had to get it just for her! She absolutely loves it! It answers the question she's been asking for 3.5 years most nights and she doesn't ask anymore because her book tells her in the sweetest ways. I read it before we gave it to her and I sobbed like a little girl. As a Mom, it just is the perfect book for the little kid wanting to know just how to know where you love is when they cannot see it, or you.

Brought a tears to my eyes

Perfect Book. We love Nancy Tillman.
Our daughter was giving a Nancy Tillman book as a baby "On the Night You Were Born" and it had been a staple favorite for bedtime. Nancy Tillman children's books are just beautiful! This one, and others (You're Here For a Reason, The Day You Were Born) have such loving prose and poetry with beautiful illustrations. Perfect to build your child's library. The sturdy board books welcome little hands!
