Stellar Layered Knife!
This knife is not "true" Damascus, but it is still layered steel sandwiched over high quality steel. This is not laser-etched. I can visibly see the layers of the outer steel under a magnifying glass. Let's talk quality now: - Low-profile for those who are minimalist. Frame lock is stellar. - Solid metal construction, no plastics. - Knife locks closed with a securing pin under the liner lock. There's a pinhole on the blade it clicks into. Locking pin has a screw for adjusting and replacement. - The knife came razor sharp. I could slice off a paper's edge from unboxing. - Opening with one hand might be challenging. The flipper for the blade is awkwardly placed and may take some practice to open with a thumb. It took me a few minutes to get the motion down. - If you are a fan of high-precision crafting and perfectly straight edges, I highly recommend this knife. - Chisel top edge is not sharpened, but as someone else mentioned, it's VERY tempting to sharpen the edge. - Not spring-assist, but opening is smooth and has an affirming click of the liner lock. It opens smoothly and glides open/close but is definitely not a loose blade. One of the best knives I've ever owned. It's a beautiful piece of precision art that I'm proud to carry around. I took the time to write this lengthy review -- trust me, it's worth the buy. Warning: This knife is EXTREMELY SHARP. Be careful with unlocking and closing the blade. The knife opens and closes so smoothly that it might bounce shut on your thumb if you close with one hand. If you do close with one hand, point the blade downward before releasing the liner lock and you'll avoid cutting your thumb (like I did).

For the money, it's outstanding
I have collected many knives over the years, and have some favorites, this is one of them. This is not true Damascus, but it doesn't look cheap. The bottle opener is not as easy to use as you would hope, but it does work. If they update the knife with a better bottle opener it would be worth getting and I would pay extra for that. I've had this knife as my primary EDC for about a year now and still love it. I'm a business professional so my EDC needs are more around box cutting, letter opening and simple cutting of tape and whatnot. And if nothing else is available I've used it to open bottles awkwardly. The blade keeps an edge, and stays firmly locked in position either open or closed. It looks amazing and I've used the flat end for scraping and very light prying. This is a gentleman's knife so it should not be expected to do anything more than light EDC tasks. There are other knives more suited to handle rough wear, but at home or in office I always have this one with me. With everything I said, knowing it's limitations, I believe that for the cost, it's beautiful and a conversation starter making it the first knife I grab to put in my pocket to start my day.

Smaller than expected
It’s sturdy and and visually appealing but the blade is very difficult to get to release. It will make for a nice collection item but not for daily use.

Good little knife
The only reason I don't give it 5 stars in every category, is that it just isn't that sharp when new. It will cut, but there is never any excuse for delivering a new knife with a mediocre edge. It should shave. That being said, its a handy little thing. The size is appropriate for just about anyone and any carry situation. It's a little goofy if you have to put any force behind it, but that's just because it's so skinny/thin. There is always a compromise somewhere, so this isn't really a con, just a side effect of it being small and compact. I was able to sharpen it to a razor edge by hand within just a few minutes. A diamond stone will put the bur on it quickly and a light polish of the edge on a ceramic rod, then a strop and it will shave.

Very nice tool
I’m not sure why others are saying there is no locking mechanism, perhaps they’ve updated their product because of these reviews. Mine came with a lock that works just the same as any other pocket knife, and is built very well. The blade comes sharp, but after sharpening it some more it’s a very nice knife. It feels heavier than I expected for the price, and I see it being my EDC often. It’s not real Damascus, but if you buy a knife expected true folded steel for anything less than 100 dollars, you shouldn’t expect much. It took an edge well, and still slices paper after a month of use. This is a fine piece, and is unique. I recommend this to anyone who wants a change in types of knives they carry.

Damascus
I've carried this knife daily for several months now, extremely sharp, well made, perfect size, strong blade, great edge retention

Nice little knife
Great knife for your jeans' watch pocket. Very sharp out of box. Lock works fine and opens easy. The flipper could be a bit larger but can be opened either with index finger or thumb. Just be careful

No pocket clip, poor engineering, thumb assist is awkward
I'm fairly disappointed in this knife. There is no pocket clip, so this knife is either a bottom of the pocket knife or one to be kept in a small survival kit, maybe. The edge is not very sharp at all out-of-the-box. The Damascus pattern looks very cheap and fake, and the pivot feels very grindy when opening and closing the blade, like it was engineered poorly and doesnt quite fit together right The thumb assist is in an awkward location and is difficult to use.
