Minimalist Salicylic Acid Solution 5%, Simple Serum (1 Fluid Ounce 5%)

I've been on an aggressive acne routine for decades, but always had a significant amount of small closed comedones that never went away. I swapped out my 2% salicylic acid (used twice a day) for this 5% solution (used once per day). The results have been amazing and fast. Good improvement within two weeks, and massive improvement within a month...after two months of daily use I got the clearest skin I've ever had in my life. I don't have any peeling or irritation with this product, but if you're not used to powerful actives, go slow with this. Also, keep it well away from your eyes or you'll have eye irritation all day long. It does feel a little oily when you put it on, but that goes away when you rub it into your skin. Makeup wears well over it. I only use 3 drops to cover my whole face, so it lasts a long time and the price is reasonable..

The packaging is super accurate! The size is good for the price. It doesn’t have a smell and it feels nice on the skin. The texture is thin so it soaks in easily and leaves your skin feeling nice without a residue. I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my skin long term, but it is non irritating and hasn’t caused any problems. Overall, I love the quality of the packaging and the product. While I haven’t seen a huge difference long term it does feel nice on the skin and I’m not dissatisfied.

I love using Salicylic acid because it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft, so I was looking forward to using this Minimalist 5% Salicylic Acid Simple Serum. I’m happy to say it didn’t disappoint! I put it on at night with a cotton ball and by the morning when I wash it off my skin looks brighter. It feels warm when it goes on and it does burn a tiny bit which is why I only use it at night, even though the directions say you can do morning and night. It’s clear so if you want to use it under makeup you won’t be able to see it. It doesn’t have a fragrance which is nice. I’m very happy with it!
