Very effective. No issues is long time use. Freezes very well.

Stopped working after two months. It took me two days to contact customer support as they did not have my details in their system . After much persistance and I sent them the invoice and then they responded. The technician said that thermostat had stopped working But the part is not available . Not been fixed so far. The freezer dies not have an indicator to detect if it is working or not. Which is a major drawback as you cannot make out when it stops working . I had to throw all the perishables . Since the above review the freezer was fixed but stopped working after 4 days of repair . Again had to throw out some stuff Have requested a replacement as machine seems to be defective. Lets see if they replace it as it is of no use

The unit was not working properly. Although the company representative came home and plugged it in, we noticed after one day that it was not cooling enough. Anyway, we knew that bluestar service is reliable. So we complained on tollfree and they fixed it promptly. All good now. My advice is not to panic even if it does not work. If the product is warrantied and after sales service is good, they will take care of it. It is important to choose a well known brand with good service history.

Great chill, Quality is unquestionable, best worth for your money. Spacious enough to store frozen foods for a large family of 15-20 people. Have placed a foot long ruler for size reference. Waiting for the electricity bill to understand power consumption. 3* rating hence assuming light bill shouldn't be a bomb.
