You’ll need a drill, 6mm masonry drill bit and rawplugs. It come with quality roundheaded screws. I fitted it to a solid wall because there’s repetitive downward force involved in its operation. I don’t think I’d be happy fitting it to a stud wall unless you can align the top 3 screws to a timber crossbeam. It performs very well and kids love it. It’s a good way to get them into recycling and helping with a chore. It really does save space in the recycling bag, probably 75% reduction. We’ve found the occasional can puts up excessive resistance and requires a lot of force, hence my comment about a solid wall being preferable. Also, one watch out, make sure the cans are empty as leaks and spills (putting the can in upside down) will put liquid down your wall.

Really impressed with this can crusher. It’s sturdy, easy to use, and flattens cans with minimal effort. The handle action is smooth and strong, and it saves loads of space in the recycling bin. Best of all, it actually makes recycling fun – there’s something very satisfying about crushing a can flat!

4 stars as this is the second one of these I’ve had. Does a good job, but the last one had the handle break after a few years.

Good cost effective van crusher. Easy to mount on the wall next to the recycling bin and quick to use. There is a bit of left-right give in the handle so you do want to pull straight down, and I’ve found with harder cans my female friends can’t crush them as it doesn’t provide the best mechanical advantage.

We drink a lot of cans in our house and as a consequence, our recycling bin gets full very quickly. This can crusher/compactor is a genius invention that has stopped my adolescent trying to stamp the cans down in our kitchen in his slippers and mashing up his feet, not to mention spilling drips of Diet Coke all over the floor. I've now hung up this can crusher next to the fridge, it's very simple to use and it helps us effortlessly crush the cans into a neat and compact tablet, which significantly saves space for us in our recycling between collections every two weeks. TIP: I'd suggest squeezing the can and making a dent in it, as it will weaken the can and make squashing it down far easier. It's a pretty simple invention but an essential piece of kit in my house! Recommended.

Pour un premier achat ces pas mal mais les soudure ne sont pas assez solide ainsi que les bras qui se déforme
