Seraphic Skincare Double-Layered Premium Exfoliating Mitt – 100% Vegan Viscose – Traditional Korean Exfoliating Glove Kessa Lined with Soft Washcloth – Self-Tan Remover, Body Scrubber & Shower Loofah

Note: On a daily basis, I use an exfoliating washcloth/body scrubber, and a body wash containing a combination of AHA and BHA acids. When I used this exfoliation mitt after my typical shower routine, a noticeable amount of skin was removed. The fact that this mitt was able to provide a deeper level of exfoliation for my already exfoliated skin is a testament to how well the mitt performs. I've used multiple variations of a microdermabrasion exfoliating mitt, from different companies, with either subpar or great results. This is the first mitt I've used that was incredibly effective, performing exactly as I anticipated - but made the exfoliation process more enjoyable. The mitt had two layers, the external exfoliating fabric, and the internal cushion. That cushion provided a layer of thickness to the mitt, which prevented my hands from being irritated while exfoliating my skin, and allowed me to have a firmer grip when using the mitt. The skin exfoliation from this mitt was efficient, thorough, and immediately noticeable. And given that I had better control while using the mitt (without it moving on my hands during usage), I could cover a large area of skin very quickly and accurately. I appreciated that I did not have to apply a lot of pressure on my skin while using the mitt, in order for the exfoliation to work. This mitt came with an informative insert, which provided helpful tips for new users of this exfoliation method. Additionally, a thin cardboard insert was placed inside of the mitt to ensure that it didn't crease during shipping. These thoughtful touches demonstrate that the company cares about its users.

TLDR: This Double-Layered Exfoliating Mitt is a quality product from start to finish and that is the reason for my 5-Star rating. Other things: (please note some photos are of the inside of the mitt, the macro shot is a close-up of the outer surface that is used.) Construction: As seen in the photo it is very well stitched. Following the Care Instructions I see no reason it does not last for the stated 3 months. Fit: My male hands are average in size. The comfort band starts right before the wrist and I like the length. I think it is a very good universal fit. Material: It's a double layer and I like the exfoliating side, not too rough, just right. Of note, I found the inner "soft cloth" side nice. I could see some choosing to use it inside out too. It's plenty gentle enough for both my body and face that is average skin type. Dyes: As seen in the photo I attached prior to first use I soaked it in 111.5 degree hot water and there is zero, zilch bleeding of black dye. Shrinkage if any was nominal in length and width. Instructions: Read those. I did and apparently I have never properly exfoliated using the "Traditional" method. I do however on occasion enjoy a nice long hot 15 minute shower. It's a guilty pleasure I allow myself. I found the method very effective, thank you for that Seraphic I learned something. In close: PLEASED.

It works well, not too hard and not so soft

I really like this Seraphic exfoliating mitt much better than my loofah and wash puff. Since the material is thin and my hand is inside it I can get to each and every part of my body - even in between my toes - which I couldn’t do easily with my larger loofah or puff. It’s a nice size that should fit anyone, woman or man. It’s well made and the seams are all secure and straight. Before using it the first time I did soak it with a bit of body wash prior to my shower and wrung it out a few times to make sure any extra dye bled out, which there was a bit of so it took a minute or two of wringing it out. Once that was done it was ready to be used. It isn’t too abrasive at all and actually feels pretty nice. Again I love that I’m easily able to get to every part of my body. The soap rinsed out of it easily when I was done and I hung it up to dry. It had no smell after it air dried which is super important to me, I hate when there’s any scent left on body care items from air drying. All in all it’s a great exfoliating mitt - made well, works great and it leaves my skin feel soft and smooth. Highly recommend.

I have a shower exfoliating towel, but this is actually the first time that I have used an exfoliating mit. I must say that I really found it refreshing once I was done using it. I did read the instructions and looked a few things up online. I used the mit with my apricot body scrub all over my arms and legs. Rinsed off with warm water and then shaved and rinsed. When I was finished my legs felt alot more smoother than usual. Also my shave lasted a few days longer than normal. So that was nice. The mit seems well made. It is comfortable with my hand inside and has plenty of room. I found it does take a bit to actually get it soaked and for water to absorb in it. ( Not even sure it's supposed to) but I liked it that way. Also it did mention that the first use may bleed black dye, and mine did do that for the first few rinses. It quickly stopped while on my first use of it though. I did find it a little tedious to try and rinse all my scrub out of the mit, but eventually with patience I got it. Overall I am very pleased with this mitt and will keep using it with my exfoliating towel as well.

I really like this exfoliating mitt, so far it does exfoliate easily and very well. My skin is soft and problems free following the use of the mitt. I see a big difference, no more bumps and blemishes due to the accumulation of dead skin and soap. I wouldn't use it on my face, this is too abrasive for the more sensitive skin. Once a week all over (except the face) should be perfect to keep a beautiful skin. I hope it will be easy to keep clean. I fear I will have the same problem I had with a luffa: the growth of bacteria and fungi.

I bought this in hopes to help with my dry skin problem after seeing a similar product online. It makes my skin super soft and works great on my husbands feet! He has problems with dry cracked skin on his feet, and it helps keep his feet soft and keeps them from cracking. The instructions were clear to follow

this is fine for exfoliating in shower, nothing amazing but does the job no complaints
