20KW Electric Furnace (68,240 BTU's) MBR1200AA1HKR20C

no problems works well no problem easy install

Firstly, this order was for the mbr1200 model blower, which is 17½"x26"x21", which is the same size as the furnace I was replacing. The item received was the mbvr2000 model, newer model which is never bad, but a much more powerful blower and bigger dimensions at 24½"x30"x21", which no longer fit without butchering the cabinets around it. Delivery was quoted for about 6 weeks, but it was delivered in about 1½ weeks, coils came in separate box, easy to install, same blade system as most electric furnaces. Opened the box to find a much bigger furnace than I ordered, but it was winter, and the furnace it was replacing barely limped its way to the finish line so returning wasn't an option. After a day of frankensteining my cabinets, purchasing materials, and creating an unexpected plenum, the furnace was installed. Worked with no issues and does it's job. 5 🌟 for the furnace -1 🌟 for the hassle of last minute modifications because of the unadvertised larger furnace

this furnace would not work right out of the box and goodman refused to help because I bought it on amazon it cost me another $200.00 to get it repaired,I don't know if I will buy on amazon again but I know I will never buy GOODMAN OR AMANA products again

Everything is included. Blower, heating coils, etc. If you have aluminum wiring running to your old furnace, prepare to rip it out and replace with copper. I used 6/2 wire. I had already planned on doing this, but the manufacture states you must use copper conductor. Also, If you plan on switching from gas to electric, or just a new install, you will need a 200 amp main with two open slots for 50amp breakers. The base, return and connecting to your existing duct work is all on you, or the installer and specific needs. Installed new thermostat, connected to furnace and fired right up. Has been running everyday for 90 days no problem.

Works great, glad i purchased this item. The only problem i had was it came pre-wired wrong i was able to use the wiring diagram to fix it

I received the heater quickly faster than I expected heating coils came in a separate box but at the same time I didn't need to wait I have not installed the unit yet but when I was checking out the system I wish there was pictures of the inside so I just posted them hope it helps I will update this review as soon as I install it pretty simple plug-in play

We had a rocky start and bigtime delays but all the horror issues were resolved replacement unit and element arrived yea! The company and Amazon kept in touch and we are pleased with the conversion. For the money this 68k electric unit meets and surpasses all our needs here in Chicago and we live just a quarter mile from the lake

Before buying this, make sure your home has 200 amp service. There was no way of finding that out other than to buy it and then find that info in the instructions.
