I’ve bought this before, and love it. Got seduced by another company’s lower price. Why not? How can you screw up rocks? I found out. They were dirty, and rinsed a long time to get rid of brown sludge. I have great confidence in thi brand, as it arrived with only clean, lightweight lava rocks and their dust. It’s a great ingredient to my potting mix, and I’ve learned my lesson.

Keep that in mind as one drawback to these sharp rocks. The other is that they will obviously get dirty very easily - being full of holes.

The lava rock is very nice. It is in the smaller pieces.(pea size) I will buy a little larger stone size next time.

Came next day. Used as a component in bonsai soil.
