EZ011106 Ez Furniture Moving System Boxed

This review is for Allstar Marketing Group EZ011106 Ez Furniture Moving System Boxed. I got it to lift my washing machine without hurting myself. I paid for it myself, and no one paid me to write this review.In the box you get a lever in two pieces, four sliders, and a set of instructions.The lever assembles in a few seconds. It is secured with springs so there's no danger of the pieces falling apart while you try to lift. The lever itself is metal and sturdy. The wheel is plastic; I'm not sure how long that will last but no problems so far. You can slide the wheel along the lever which is quite useful for increasing the amount of leverage you can apply to your load.The lever has a removable soft cover which my washing machine was tearing apart so I removed it. It's meant to protect your furniture finish. I don't suppose it will last long. It tends to slide off while lifting; if it were snug, you couldn't remove it for lifting appliances, could you?Without the soft cover, the end that goes under your appliance is about 1/8 of an inch thick. Therefore, your appliance or furniture needs to be a bit more than 1/8 of an inch off the ground to get the lever under it.I'm a senior citizen, and I have an assortment of shoulder problems, but I was able to easily hoist my washer up a few inches. You can't really lift more than a couple inches but I can lift the washer four inches or more by placing washer and lever on books and raising the washer one book at a time.I didn't use the sliders, so this review does not cover them.You can get levers with fancier sliders and even wheeled dollies, but you'd pay more. For my purposes, it does what I need and is good value at the price I paid.

This product was so helpful in rearranging our offices. We easily slid heavy wood desks and other furniture across industrial carpet and across low vinyl door jams. Read the directions - they work best going over jams with the long end that has the curved lip on it. The lifting tool was awesome. Sometimes the furniture pieces sat too tight to the surface to easily slide it under and we had to tilt the piece to get it under, but I could see where a person could manage moving furniture without the aid of another person with these - in most cases anyway - probably not safe in all circumstances - just use common sense. Fantastic product that really delivers.

It's not so easy to actually put the lifter under the furniture as it doesn't slide under it without difficulty, but once you get it under there to get the sliders in place, you are able to move the furniture pretty easily - even on carpet.

This was as promised. However, it would have been nice if I was alerted that it would be sent without the box. Nothing on the site about that and I was expecting it in the box per the picture. The receipt sent said "out of box" but that was too late for me to do anything about it. It would have been good to have the box even if it was folded up to fit in the mailing package as I believe there are usage instructions or pictures on the box that I did not get.

Not much to the level of this item.. tried to use it on a heavy cabinet, but it would not move. It works on furniture you could lift without it.

I am keeping this product only for the lifting bar. It works very well. The dresser I want to move is very heavy, I am 62 years old with a bad shoulder. I was able to lift the dresser enough to get the glider pads under it without much effort at all. BUT...when I tried to move the dresser on carpet, the plastic glider pieces just dug deep into the carpet. The edges should be curved upwards, allowing the glider to do just that, glide. Instead the plastic piece is very flat and will not float over the carpet fibers. Very disappointed that I have to buy additional products to get the job done.

Love this crazy little pry bar. I bought it to move a refrigerator across the kitchen for a repair behind it. Found out that I did not need it as the fridge (even though 35 years old) was on wheels. BUT, I used it to put bigger sliders under my piano and move the upright piano across the room on carpet and it worked great. Love this little pry bar to lift heavy items enough to get felt or plastic sliders under it. I'm keeping it with my moving supplies. Great tool.

I love this item. I was skeptical at first, I had an oak roll top desk and a 39 gallon aquarium to move out of 2 different rooms. I used the little pry bar, and was able to slide the gliders under them. And just a small push they slid from carpeting to tile floors beautifully. I actually bought another box of a different brand, no comparison. This is definitely a good purchase.
