Got this for streaming events. Its honestly a very high quality item. The auto focus and movement of the camera is smooth and seamless. The picture quality is really excellent. My only issue is with the ai settings. They are difficult to set up and learn. Often we had the camera following people in the background that walked by or others that walked infront of the camera. Then sometmes it would seem to get stuck between zooming in and zooming out quickly as if it couldn't locate a target. It may take sometime to optimize the AI functioning but was still a little tricky to get it working consistently.

Review: I strongly recommend purchasing this remote with the Obsbot Tail 2, as it genuinely elevates the overall shooting experience. The hardware controls are excellent — the zoom, preset positions, camera movement, and quick mode switching all make operating the camera much faster and more intuitive. I also appreciate that it charges via USB-C, which is convenient and modern. That said, there are two areas that need improvement: 1. Ergonomics The remote feels as if it was originally designed to attach to a larger unit. When used on its own, the exposed left side makes the grip less natural. A simple design adjustment — such as a cover or grip extension — would significantly improve comfort and handling. 2. Firmware & Reliability The software integration still feels immature. Pairing is inconsistent, and occasionally the buttons trigger incorrect actions (for example, activating recording when using the zoom). When it works, it performs very well — but stability issues appear most often after powering the camera on and off. I believe Obsbot could deliver a much better experience by refining the firmware and connection reliability. Bottom Line: The remote has great potential and definitely completes the Tail 2 workflow, especially for active creators. With better software updates and a small design tweak, it would be an outstanding accessory. I still recommend it, but I look forward to future improvements.
