Hit the range with the Dragon Grip on my shotgun. All I can say is I’m impressed no slipping at all and feels great. I got lots of compliments. The tape is easy to install, and you don’t need a heat gun to install. I tried both methods one gun with a heat gun, and one gun with a hair dryer and can’t tell the difference. For the price this is amazing! Easy to cut to fit any gun you want. The size of the tape for the price is awesome. Over all I’d say this surpassed my expectations and works great!

I recently bought a new pocket knife for use at work, and the metal handle is too flat/slick to hold on to. Having used skateboard tape for similar purposes in the past, I decided to try something a little less abrasive. Dragon Grips popped up in the search box, and a few days later I was tracing the knife handle on the backing paper. . . . The tape was easy to apply (except for getting briefly stuck to my fingers). From past experience with skateboard tape on pistol grip frames, I knew to cut it slightly oversize and trim once in place. The tape trimmed very smoothly, it cut cleanly when I ran a razor blade along the edge of the knife handles. (Not an approach I'd recommend on a pistol, where you don't want to scratch the bluing.) Good adhesive--seriously good. After bouncing around in my pocket accompanied by too many keys, and a couple trips through the washing machine, the tape hasn't moved. The tape gives a good grip, without being as abrasive as my old skateboard-tape-standby. This stuff is a very nice product, and after doing my pocket knife, I have enough left over to do 2+ full-size pistol grip frames. Highly recommended!

Nice upgrade. Can be cut to size and fit curves. Said heating is optional but for a good bond, it's required. It will melt and loose all texture if it's over heated FYI.

Love the product so far. I like that I am able to cut and customize these to the size I want so they fit perfect. The durability has been great so far( wearing appendix daily). The adhesive on the side against my body has loosened up but the other sides are still holding strong. If you have sweaty hands like me, these are a must! Overall great product and excellent value for money!

Incredible product! I purchased this dragon tape for a little extra grip on my FX-9, and it exceeded all expectations. It arrived well-packaged, and to my surprise, it was incredibly comfortable—no annoying skin tears like some other grip tapes I’ve tried. My FX-9 grip has a few custom cutouts, so I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to cut and apply the tape or how well it would conform. Turns out, it’s highly malleable and went on like a glove. After hitting it with a heat gun, it perfectly wrapped into every concave groove. I even had some extra tape and decided to use it on the back of my kids’ Yeti iPods. It worked amazingly there too! The kids loved that their iPods no longer slip out of their hands. This tape seems versatile enough to use on practically anything. I’m already looking forward to trying the hexagon-shaped dots they offer. Based on my experience so far, this is a fantastic product from what appears to be a great company. Highly recommend, and I’ll be back to review the hex dots next!

Better than stock when used on a pistol, but texture is not very grippy at all.

I tried this material on a new Glock grip. It's excellent. I've used grip tape before and this is as good or better than the other brand I used. It's thin enough and not too thin at the same time. It's very pliable and shape-able to conform to grip curves and valleys. I used a heat gun to ensure it sticks well (after careful cleaning of the area using alcohol) and to soften it to shape it to the curves of the Glock grip. It's also grippy at the right level for me (I don't need sandpaper, I need slight stickiness that a rubber-like material provides). If you need sandpaper for your grip this is not the right product. If you need a rubber-like material this is excellent. I hope the material does not degrade (becoming hard and not grippy). If it does I'll just remove and re-apply new material.

You get a slice of rubber that has been smoothed and coated. There is nothing grippy about this item. You will just be adding weight to your item you add it to. Likely good for protection. But not for anything else. Esp not for reliability of grip. Wet it’s even worse.
