I really like how easy this is to assemble. The dishes are very big and will easily fit a tin of cat food in them (80g). My cat has no issues eating out of this. Some down sides; the dishes are quite deep so some cats might not like their whiskers hitting the sides of the dishes, when the dish moves round to the next one it is quite noisy and took my cat some time to adjust to the noise, when you turn the item on after unplugging you have to reset the time, but not the set timers. It can be a bit fiddly to get the timers correct and the refrigeration working. The good points; keeps the wet food cold and fresh for a day, I can't comment on more as I left this running for 24 hours whilst i was away overnight, the cat tried and failed to break in to it, the cat had no issues eating out of it. Definitely a peace of mind having this when I need to leave the cat for a longer period of time. I haven't tried it with dry food as I have a separate bowl for that so I can't comment on that. It is quite expensive but definitely worth the price if you need to leave your pet.

UPDATE: After leaving the glowing review below I’m sadly having to update to inform you that this item is no longer working. It was purchased on 1st August and so is approximately 6 weeks old. The motor began to make a whirring sound around a week ago which became progressively louder and today has stopped working altogether. I’m not sure why there are reviews saying it doesn’t run for more than a day, I don’t think they’ve set it up correctly, ours is set to run morning, noon and night and hasn’t skipped a beat so far. I have it set to the highest refrigeration setting and it keeps the food fresh for 2-3days, it may last longer I just haven’t tested it out beyond that. Raw, fresh and gravy based cat foods turn quicker than in jelly so I’d bear that in mind when filling up. It is really easy to assemble and refill, there are just a couple of clips on the side to open the cover. It is fairly quiet overall but does give a slight hum on the coldest setting but my cats got used to it pretty quickly. The only minor con is that the opening isn’t very big and it took my cats a while to get used to putting their face in there to eat as their whiskers touch the sides. Overall I would say it’s definitely worth the money, it works well and is a godsend if you have illnesses that make taking care of your pets more difficult or you want to go away for a while.

I’ve been using this for one month so I can’t speak for the longevity of the product. I use it to feed my cat 4 times daily - the fifth compartment is always “open”, so the first feeding is when you pop the tray into the machine (or you can leave this empty). The timing is reliable and works well, you can also set the times in 10 minute increments. It does need to be wiped down everyday as condensation does build inside as other reviewers said. I don’t mind as it takes me 1 min to wipe down the inside with a cloth. The bowls can easily fit 80g+ of wet cat food. It is a tad deep, so my cat does sometimes pick the food out of the bowl due to whisker fatigue. Noise level is fairly low, but you will be able to hear a humming (like a fridge) in the room it’s in. All in all I’m fairly happy with the product. I could only find 2 of these that refrigerate wet food in the UK. I just hope it lasts long enough!

When we bought this product, it had only been around for about a month, and there was nothing else that suited our needs, so we gave it a shot. Every other product I looked at used ice packs to cool the food. Fine if you want to feed your pet during the day, while you are out, but no use for more than about 12 hours. This product is actually refrigerated, so keeps the food cold far longer. It's quite noisy when changing compartments, but the refrigeration side is very quiet and didn't bother our cat at all. The instructions don't recommend using it for more than 48 hours for wet food, but, to be honest, it's so effective, that we have been able to go away for a long weekend (Friday to Monday) with no issues. When we got back, all of the food had been eaten, without any problems (dry food was kept in a large bowl by the side). We've only used this in February / March, so far, and setting 2, of 3, was more than adequate. There is a higher setting for Summer use, too, if needed. I can't recommend this product highly enough. It's meant we don't have to bother anyone, to feed the cat while we are away for the weekend, which gives us total flexibility. The only inconvenience, compared to other products, is that it needs to be plugged in to a mains source, but that's not been an issue for us, at all. It's easy to program / use, and easy to clean. Five stars was an absolute no brainer.

I bought this feeder to feed my cat wet food over 2 days, but in fact, the feeding period is 24 hours programable at 4 increments which follow on exactly. As an example, the following feed pattern of 6am, 5pm (1st 12 hours) then the same on day 2 wont work. You get feed 1 at 6am, feed 2, 6am, then feed 3 and 4 at the same time on the same day. As long as you realise that, it’s a great product. But not what i was after - nor understood from thw description .

Worked really well but recently stopped working after just 6 months. Went away and came back and it had not moved on so my cat didn’t get any of the 4 meals I left 🤬

I purchased this on 16 February 2025, on 2 June 2025 it started going wrong. This is expensive for a 3 1/2 months feeder, which will cost me £20 in disposal fee. I put 1 star because the fact it's plugged avoid issues with batteries. I'm livid at this useless expense, I can't even seem to discuss this with the seller, because the return window closed in March! The insanity! Just so we are clear, I contacted the Chinese after sale branch, who confirmed that there was no programming issue, in fact it's been working perfectly until now. My cat is diabetic, he needs his feeds at regular hours to help keep his blood glucose steady, and since yesterday the feeder regularly turns twice, which means last night, he was feeding and the feeder started turning. Thankfully he didn't get hurt as whiskers could have been caught in the process, but he was without food until I got up and fed him manually. What when I'm at the office? DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND IT'S UNRELIABLE!
