Britax Poplar Convertible Car Seat, 2-in-1 Car Seat with Slim 17-Inch Design, ClickTight Technology, Cobalt Onyx

From the moment we unboxed these seats, we were happy! We bought the cobalt onyx and the magenta onyx for our 1 & 2 1/2 year old! Now I learned that the headrests in most cars must come off for a proper forward facing fit, but our children will rear face for as long as possible! Which is until they max out the weight/height for rear facing. They fit perfectly rear facing in our 17 Traverse. They went in with no problems! Easy installation and the babies love them! Our 2 1/2 year old would always unbuckle her Graco 4Ever DXL chest clip, and she hasn’t figured out this one yet, or it’s more comfortable for her! Thats a HUGE plus in our book! It’s nice to know and not have much anxiety going out and about with our kids knowing they are safe. The colors are just a bonus! If your child is under the rear facing requirements and you’re wondering if it’s worth buying if you don’t have removable headrests, I assure you, it is! They can rear face up to 50lbs! It’s much safer to rear face as long as possible anyways! You won’t regret this seat and keeping your child safe!

I got 2 of these to ensure I could 3 across in my ‘22 Subaru Outback, which is not the friendliest for 3 across arrangements. But, it works! They have a super easy install. It does need to be reinstalled periodically as I do have the clicktight loosen from time to time. I did have a problem with the hip strap randomly fraying on one of my poplars, but Britax was quick to replace the harness. My main complaint is that although the main cover of the seat is washable, the shoulder pads don’t come off for washing as far as I’m aware. They’ve gotten quite yucky, because toddlers, but spot cleaning has not been very successful.

I’ve been a loyal purchaser from Graco for all of my kids seats, infant, convertible, Forward facing harnessed & High back boosters (older kids 4&6) but this time around I wanted to try something different. This seat was comparable price wise to the Graco we’d been looking at but holy smokes the quality is unmatched!! The padding feels so luxurious compared to any of the Graco seats we’ve bought. The seat itself is pretty heavy but that doesn’t make a difference for us as it will stay in my car. The ClickTight install is game changing! Seriously so easy! I love that it has optional cup holders, my son is currently 7 months old so he doesn’t need them right now but it will be helpful to have them as he gets older. He used to cry every time we put him in his infant seat but has not cried once in the car since switching him to this seat!

I absolutely love this carseat. Obsessed with it. However it was the previous years model, which means it won't last as long for my next kid!

Best carseat ever! So easy to travel with, people compliment it at the airport. Easy to switch between cars because the install is simple and fast. We didnt want a huge 360, this one is best slimmer option.

It's very comfortable! My infant seems pleased with it. I cannot comment on the installation my boyfriend did that part. I chose this because it has a higher weight limit for a rear facing. It's good quality

This is our 5th car seat and by far our most favorite. Fits in smaller cars, tightening mechanism is great to both the child and the seat to the car. It's snug fit in every vehicle we have used.

Love the design the comfy is n tx level so super soft fairly easy to install.
