GRIN MOOD Matcha Powder - Organic Green Tea Powder - Decaffeinated Green Tea, Authentic Korean Matcha, Halal (1.06oz, Ceremonial Grade)

I used this to make Matcha ice cream and the flavor was so rich and strong, I had to majorly modify the recipe. I am glad for the reduced caffeine, so I can eat more of it! Here is my recipe (1 qt of ice cream) if anyone is interested: In a saucepan combine 2 cups whole milk with 1 cup heavy cream. Heat medium-low. Add 3/4 cup of pure maple syrup, 1/8 tsp coarse sea salt, and 1 tsp vanilla bean paste. Whisk until dissolved. Remove from heat after it's warm, do not boil. In a medium bowl put 2.5 tbsp matcha powder and add 4 tbsp of the warm milk mixture and stir out the clumps until it's a smooth paste. Add another 4tbsp milk and repeat. Repeat this about 4 times and then whisk the paste with the rest of the milk. Use a sieve to transfer this mixture into a covered container. Chill in fridge at least 4 hours or overnight. Churn in ice cream maker for 20-25 min. Freeze to set up at least 4 hours or overnight. You can buy a great ice cream maker and ice cream containers on Amazon as well! 💚🍵🍦

This is NOT DECAF Matcha. Despite the Amazon description saying that this is decaf matcha, the package arrived and nowhere on the package does it say “decaf”. It just shows that matcha has less caffeine that coffee. Which is true. But decaf matcha DOES exist. I’ve purchased it from another company. And this product is not it. This definitely has caffeine in it. I can taste it and I am also super sensitive to caffeine and was totally wired like regular matcha.

I love this brand. It is a ceremonial Korean organic, decaffeinated matcha. The taste is like any other matchas. I LOVE that I can enjoy a warm matcha latte before bed without sacrificing my sleep. I just ordered my third bag.

Expensive and brown matcha. Doesn’t taste ceremonial grade, it should be bright green. It’s just alright if you want decaf matcha.

Are you kidding me? I was shocked when I retrieved this teeny, tiny, flat package from it's wrapping. To be absolutely correct, it is 1.06 ounces. This company is ripping people off by using the term "ceremonial" Matcha. No different from any other I have tried and the bag will be gone in a few weeks. Total Ripoff.
