Amazing book and so well written, important conversations that are needed to be had.

Incredible book and much needed in these times. I urge everyone to read it and educate themselves on the insidious nature of anti-Semitism.

Poor attempt to twist the truth. Conflating Jewish faith with Zionism at an oddly specific time in history? You do the math. Wants to white wash Zionism and distract from the horrors currently on going in Palestine.

I felt like there was a lot of propaganda in this book to sway the reader into thinking a certain wayWouldn’t recommend

This book is so badly written I couldn't continue reading it past the first chapter. Life is way too short to read this book.

Absolutely horrendous, my close friend is a Jew and she cannot believe this was even written by so called a Jewish women, ( she isn’t btw)Just a bunch of propaganda

Emmanuel Acho already published an amazing book, Uncomfortable Conversation with a Black Man. This book, written as a conversation with Noa Tishby, is also great. It's an excellent source of information about antisemitism, and it also helped me understand what is going on in Israel and Gaza. We already have Emmanuel's first book as a "must" reading for every employee in our office. We will add this new book to that list, as we have zero tolerance for racism of any kind. Thanks to Emmanuel and Noa, I understand hidden forms of antisemitism.

I was hooked from page one and couldn’t put it down. Noa articulated the Jewish experience in a way that I have been struggling to do, and Emmanuel’s questions gave me insight into what some Black Americans are thinking. The dialogue was respectful, transparent, informative and vulnerable — and yes, at times uncomfortable. We should all aspire to communicate in this way. On a semi-related note: I’ve noticed that most of the one star reviews here are not verified purchases, and they are either (1) complaining about something that proves the reviewer didn’t actually read the book or (2) asserting that the whole book is lies (which suggests they didn’t read this book and probably haven’t read any books.) I’d be interested in hearing from people who did read it and then gave only one star because I really valued the conversation and want to understand other perspectives (not the politically reactionary fake ones, real ones.) For me, it was a fabulous read and a demonstration of how we can create understanding in the absence of agreement.

The dialogue (question and answer) format is exceptionally suited for the historical information the writers present. To say reading this book is worthwhile is an understatement. I don’t know how Jews might respond to this book. As a person of another faith, I can do no more than recommend it.

I like the history of the Jewish people - both ancient and more modern history. Interesting to see the questions from a Christian black man - questions that probably a lot of people would have. Very informative.
