Cobian Braided Bounce – Women’s Sandals With Extra-Thick Cushion – Soft Flip Flops for Women With Arch Support

I’ve worn this style of Cobian sandals since 2014 (bought my first pair on my honeymoon when my cheap plastic flip flops wouldn’t cut it). Since then I’ve had some feet injuries and despite being in shape and slim my over pronation has gotten worse. These are some of the only sandals that keeps me feet firmly nestled in the shoe and after years of hiking and walking helps keep the foot pain at bay by providing an extreme level of comfort with great support and stability. It takes FOREVER to wear these things out! I wear them at home everyday when I don’t have tennis shoes on and constantly wear them out in the summer months, I use them at the pool and put my wet feet in them too (they dry extremely quick considering the material of the sole) and despite all that it still takes about 2 years for a pair to fall apart for me. Daily wear with a lot of abuse and I only have repurchase every couple of years? Yes, definitely worth the price! I like that the braided style allows these to work for casual and kind of dressy looks- I’ll wear them with workout shorts and sweatpants (the solid colors like black or cream work the best for that) and I’ll wear them with dressier shirts and jeans or khakis and they look great (these brown ones with dual color in the braid looks great dressed up)! These are by far the best sandals I have ever owned, providing comfort and stability and still looking fashionable and nice and I hope they never quit making them. I highly recommend these- they are so very worth it! The only thing I will comment on is that I think they do run a tad small especially if you deal with any swelling in the feet. I am normally a 7-7.5 in sandals and while I can wear the size 7 I much much more comfortable in an 8. So if you’re between sizes or have a wider foot or any swelling definitely size up because I feel the tightness more so in the width than the length but the 8’s aren’t too long for me. Everyone is different though so I’d actually suggest buying two sizes if you’re unsure so you can try them both out.

Bought these for the summer and wore them quite a bit. From day one, they have a soft cushion feel, yet decent arch support at the same time. Love the braided shades of blue. They go great with jeans, shorts & summer dresses. Ordered size 10 (my usual) & they fit perfect. Look same as photo. Still look & feel great after the whole summer season. Have bought Cobian brand before & liked them a lot because of the comfortable sole. Would buy again!

Nothing compares to the comfort of these soft yet firm sandals. I love these Covina sandals in particular!! This is my second pair, even though my first pair is doing well and into its 3rd year!! Thank you, Cobian, for your quality made sandals/flip flops.

I love these sandals. This is my third pair. I love how comfortable they are and cute but simple. Absolutely a must have if your looking for some cushion.

I tried on a lot of flip flops of various quality from dollar shops to boutique specialty stores. I owned a pair of Cobians prior that I wore for years until the sole wore down to paper thin. Ive been wanting to replace them but couldn’t find just the right pair. Of course another pair of Cobians would be the only logical choice! They are squishy soft on my feet. They do run slightly small. I usually struggle to fill out a size 7 shoe and these fit right around my foot without much room to spare. The toe attachment is a little noticeable as I slip it on out of the package. Hopefully it just needs to be broken in. Also, pleased to read the tag attached that shared that Cobian is a Christian faith based company.

These are my third pair because of their comfort. They look nice and are well made. My last pair is a little stiffer on the foot bed, but not a big deal. I was able to wear these on long walks (3-4 mi.) when it was hot. I do recommend them

Ordered these a half size up from my usual and was a bit surprised by how smallish they were on my foot, that fit all the way flush to the back edge. I ordered another pair in a different color on a sale and decided to gamble and size up again. This time I order a full size AND a half up and they fit perfectly, with 1/3" at the back edge. As a bit of a natural power-strider, I walk fast, and being able to rely on that heel strike for traction is important. I wanted a pair that didn't have my heel balanced precariously near that back edge! Going up a size and a half worked - so a size 10 fits more like an 8 1/2. Also, the front strap between the toes is short-ish, so it seems to pull back on that area. I have a sleek frame and flatter/bonier feet and even I noticed this effect. If you have feet with more "body" to them - more fluff ;) - these may be a tad uncomfortable, even if you size up considerably. I noticed this on both pairs/sizes. I am guessing these will adjust and conform to the foot as they get worn, and things will settle into alignment as they should. Still, I strongly suggest you buy these being able to do free returns, until you are certain you know what size will work for you, in length AND strap comfort. All those caveats aside, I wear thongs A LOT, and these are the most comfortable pair I have ever felt! Immediately re-ordered a 2nd pair. Like walking on gummy bears. Happy feet thongs. The strap doesn't pull too much on the front of my feet, and they are quite used to that from wearing thongs so much anyway (hot feet!), and walking in them sinks my foot into the footbed, so things align right. Great company, but they should *really* look into true-ing up their sizes to proper fit standards (so customers get the expected fit from a thongs order) and fix the issue of the straps being a bit too tight/snug between the toes, as this can be pretty uncomfortable. Nothing ruins a great pair of thongs faster than a toe-strap that is painfully tight, unyielding, and causes abrasion/friction between the toes! A little adjustment in manufacturing would mean a HUGE comfort boost for customers/wearers. For such a good company, getting these 2 issues resolved once and for all would be a huge blessing to company and customers for the long haul! Being so comfortable, it is worth it to go thru the hassle to find your own "right pair/size" and order a couple/few pair once you do. This review *only* applies to the Braided Bounce, as I have only tried/bought those. Whether these issues apply to other styles, I have no idea. Overall, really amazing comfort and glad I decided to gamble on these in the comfort category. I wear some pretty brick-like thongs - no comfort but natural air conditioning for those hot of feet! - and being active in walking/jogging/etc., I needed at least one pair that offered some occasional comfort. I ordered 3 pairs, from 3 brands, across men's and women's styles/thongs. I kept these and ordered a 2nd pair. Foot (and fait) comfort accomplished!
