Follow Laila, a curious Muslim girl, as she learns about Ramadan through an engaging story that introduces religious concepts and sparks curiosity in children. Review: Great Starter Ramadan Book for Kids - Nice intro to Ramadan for kids. My 5-year-old enjoyed the pictures, but I had to explain some parts. Still a sweet and simple read. Review: Captures the spirit of Ramadan - This gets five stars because it is the first Ramadan book for kids I have found on desertcart that is not afraid to mention Islam, Allah, Quran, Salah. It's a simple, beautiful story. Beautifully illustrated (especially loved the calligraphy!). So many of the books on Ramadan and Eid are "sanitized" to remove all mentions of religion. They centralize gift-giving and decorations that are borrowed elements from christmas. I really appreciate this book for trying to celebrating the spirit of Ramadan and not watering-down for global appeal. I took it to my toddler's nursery to share about Ramadan with the children.

Good book
Good for a 3 year old, I still have to explain to her what was happening. The illustrations could have been a little better. Overall it’s a good book.

recently purchased “Tell me more about Ramadan: (Islamic books for kids)” for my 8-year-old daughter, and I couldn’t be happier with the impact it has had on her understanding of Ramadan. This beautifully illustrated book follows the story of Laila, a curious young girl eager to learn about the holy month of Ramadan. The engaging narrative and vibrant illustrations captivated my daughter’s attention from the very first page. Through this book, my daughter learned about the significance of Ramadan, including the revelation of the Quran, the importance of mercy, and the practice of increased prayers and recitation of the Quran1. The story is presented in a way that is both educational and enjoyable, making complex religious concepts accessible to young children. As a parent, I am thrilled to see my daughter not only enjoying the story but also gaining a deeper appreciation for our cultural and religious traditions. This book has sparked her curiosity and encouraged her to ask more questions about our faith. I highly recommend “Tell me more about Ramadan” to any parent looking to introduce their children to the beauty and significance of Ramadan.
