Great little gate, we got this to keep the dog and cat from going upstairs. We also need access to the upstairs. gate moves super easy and is light. it is a perfect fit for what were doing. May not hold back a big dog that is determined, but easily separates our stairs.

We have 5 dogs and several rooms that are off limits. These are very easy to install and adjust to the size you desire. They are very durable and provide security by denying access to rooms from the dogs. These are very easy to use and don't stick.

I considered a 2 star rating, but since it technically does block the doorway, I gave it a 3. While it came without instructions it seemed like a no brainer. However, now that I've tried to use it, I want to throw it out the window! It is NOT easy to get it to slide for sizing, the only way I could get it to slide was to turn it sideways (short side in the air) and pull it. When I tried sliding it when horizontal it refused to budge, let alone slide smoothly! It definitely does not slide seamlessly as their video shows. I finally gave up and just set it in the doorway and hope it keeps wet paws out of my kitchen. The plastic is pretty flimsy, but not an issue, can't say if it opens easily because it is not locked in place. If it worked as it should it would keep my dogs out of the room I guess. Can't recommend.

It’s a cheap gate. Dont expect it to be awesome, expect a gate. It isn’t as smooth as the ones that open and it doesn’t close the same either. Functional, fits, works.

The locking mechanism isn't the easiest to use. It could be because I'm using it at the top of the stairs and there is molding there. When it latches it's pretty sturdy but sometimes it feels like I'm going to break the handle off when I'm trying to lock it in place
