I'd say it's better than the normal ones I used to buy, which was quite a surprise. I was expecting these to be less durable and not as effective. Absolutely not true. The scrub side is comparable to a gentle scrub sponge and totally acceptable. However the sponge side is very strong and has a firm squeegee feel as it rubs the surface of the dishes. I honestly think it is way better. It doesn't smell funny and with reasonable care (rinse and dry) each sponge lasts a solid month. They also seem to hold a good amount of water and are great for wiping up the counter. I couldn't ask for more. Keep them coming. I need one a month.

Got these to replace a more common smiley brand. These work GREAT. They clean well and hold up to a good amount of use. Size is similar to a normal sponge, maybe a little thicker due to the dual side. Holds soap well. We will continue to buy these.

We love how this is scratch resistant, the quality is great for an all natural material, it’s soft and cleans well. I love how it doesn’t retain certain food odors after each use (squeeze excess water after each use).

Finally found a "natural" sponge that actually works. I've bought many other sponges that either didn't hold soap or didn't clean particularly well. This works really well and holds soap well, too. The only con is that it only lasts about two weeks before the scrubby part starts falling apart, but I guess you are supposed to change your sponge often. What I love best about these sponges is that they come dried out, they're not moist like regular sponges that have who knows what antimicrobial stuff on them.

Great option for healthier manual dishwashing. Same size and thickness as most non-plant-based sponges. The scrubby side lasts stands up to normal use and does a good job. These sponges do wear out faster than non-plant-based alternatives, but the cost helps to offset the replacement cycle.

Eco friendly and exactly what I was looking for. Cleans my dishes and gets the job done! You get 12 sponges for an amazing price, in my opinion, so to me it’s definitely work the money.

Used to be a Scrub Daddy fan until I realized that I was contributing to microplastics going down the drain! Tried these plant based sponges and they are great! Love that there is no plastic, these are made from wood cellulose and coconut husks, are compostable, and they do not start smelling like regular sponges do.

Non-plastic sponges is a must! These are good. They don’t last as long as the typical plastic sponges that are sold out there and that we have become accustomed to, but they last long enough to wash a ton of dishes before replacing them. I highly recommend.

great cleaners and non toxic

Great product. We’ve been using one of the sponges for a while and it feels and functions just like a ‘normal’ supermarket sponge. Seems to wear similarly too. Very happy with it.

Excellent product knowing it is safe and specifically for crockery, etc. It goes hard though when not in use. So have to use hot water every time to soften it. Recommend it.

Great quality, last me longer than the commercial plastic sponges and can go into the compost after use. Will definitely buy again.

I like the eco friendliness of the sponge and the packaging, as well as how well the sponge holds soap. However, I'm disappointed that the scrubbing side of the sponge isn't very effective and doesn't last for more than a week or so. It soon falls apart and separates from the sponge. That said, we are happy with the rest of the sponge and can use it for other cleaning chores than just office dishes.
