Manuka Health, Manuka Honey, Mgo 573, (500 G)

The honey is exactly how I would expect it. It has a nice texture and the health benefits you would expect from Manuka honey. The strength of MGO 573 is pretty great and it is easy on the stomach. Of course, the nutritional value with a lot of sugar is expected of honey. Easy on digestion!

I suffer from a medical condition and GERD. Unfortunately the GERD prescriptions (Protonix, Omeprazole) causes a bad reaction with my other meds, so I can't take either one. This Manuka Health Honey has been a lifesaver to control my GERD. I have a cup of organic chamomile tea mixed with a teaspoon of Manuka Health Manuka Honey. I drink this 2-3 time per day. I find this strength of 550+ to be the best, though I have also used 400+ strength as well and it has worked. For me, using natural remedies has worked better than chemicals, since often I get side effects from meds. My aunt suffers from IC, so she also started using Manuka honey with chamomile tea. The Manuka honey has made a difference with her IC, so she can occasionally have foods that she couldn't have before, since they would cause a flare. This honey has worked for both of us, but everybody is different. I suggest you buy a smaller size and try it out to see if it helps your condition. Since it works for us, we find buying the larger jar to be more economical, since the health food stores where I live only stock the smaller jars. Amazon is the only place that stocks the larger sizes, plus I get free shipping, as opposed to buying it elsewhere. Manuka Honey has been useful for all types of medical conditions, internal and external. I have heard it is good for certain skin conditions, but it's best to do research before using it. For me, it was the only thing that helped my GERD.

Yummy! Best product based on Honey nutrient percentage. A little expensive.

This can’t be raw honey. I literally have over 40 types of raw honey on my shelves and have tried dozens more and the texture of this isn’t even remotely similar to raw. This is shameful and dangerous. Real Manuka honey must be certified prior to export by the Australian Manuka Honey Association (AMHA) if it's from Australia or from the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) if it's from New Zealand. Do not buy any Manuka honey that does not have one of these certifications clearly marked on the label. This product is not certified by anyone. It would not pass certification because this is not Manuka honey.It’s standard honey. Not to mention one of my patient’s husband is a professional bee keeper/honey expert. He says it is biologically impossible for this honey to be raw. It’s thin runny and basically the same as any standard honey.
