Korg CM-400 Contact Microphone for Korg TM70 Tuner and Metronome - Black

This was bought in addition to a CM-300-BK that I have had, and been pleased with, for three years. Apart from the jackplug size and logo the CM-300-BK and CM-400 seem identical. Both have a 30mm jaw capacity and 150cm cable. The 3.5mm mono jack on this model allows it to be used without adapters together with tuning software on a phone, tablet or laptop. It works with my Lenovo Moto and Thinkpad devices with no problem. Another reviewer complained that she could not fit on of these microphones to a bagpipe drone, but I, and other pipers have no problem clipping these onto great highland bagpipe drones and chanters. Their contact mechanism is especially useful in a band environment.

Does what it's supposed to do and it does it well, it could be better with a longer lead as I sometimes drag the metronome of the table when I get carried away, you know you get lost in the music then clatter (O I hope i ain't broke it) so a longer lead and it would be great not good hence the 🌟🌟🌟🌟 as for tuning accuracy its not spot on, but i did put it against my peterson strobo, value for money expensive for what it is, sound quality well it dont produce any sound it's for listening so 0 there, ease of use, it could not be any easier plug and play.

Easy replacement and works great. I just wish the wire was a little more durable.
