Update: Seller sent a new blanket upon speaking with them and that one has lasted without shedding at all!I have purchased these types of blankets for both my sons over the years. I ordered this one approximately a month before his birthday and wish I would have waited as the return window is closed. He was given the blanket this morning and we noticed lint all over the couch. I thought maybe it just needed a quick wash (cold water, gentle cycle) and was horrified when it came out covered in lint that appears to be stuck to the edges. What a waste....skip this item!

THIS IS A REALLY SOFT AND HEAVY BLANKET FOR WINTER. IT IS VERY NICE AND COLORFUL. I SNUGGLE DOWN IN IT TO WATCH TV. I AM 5'7 AND IT COVERS ME WITH ROOM TO SPARE. SO IT IS LONG AND WIDE ENOUGH FOR A RECLINER OR BED. I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT I BOUGHT A SECOND ONE IN A DIFFERENT DESIGN FOR A SPARE.

I purchased this for a family gift. It’s a great size for anyone in our family. Very soft and used daily.
