A dual screen lappy that works...finally
Well done Asus. First to market with a dual screen laptop, perfectly integrated and that works as it should. Others have tried and not quite made it work but this is superb. I tend to use it in horizontal duo mode which is the primary purpose for me. The integrated stand is solid and secure and the two OLED screens are bright and a good size. Moving between screens is seamless and intuitive. Battery life could always be better but I get a solid 7-8 hours when using both screens. It's a super fact machine with no lag whatsoever and the detachable keyboard is superb. Very thin, feels good to type on and instant connectivity using BT. This is a gamechanger for the future of laptops.

Really innovative design
Great design - desk-top features (i.e. 2 screens) in a lightweight portable form. Definitely recommended

Quite a brilliant concept
Needs a little fettling with the software, but the screens are superb being oled. Bought for my wife as a Christmas present. She was super pleased, makes her workflow much easier. 2 TB ssd is superfast, battery life is pretty good over 10 hours of use. All in all very pleased with the product.

Great laptop with a terrible keyboard
The Zenbook Duo 2024 could've been a great laptop from ASUS. How on Earth could they include this keyboard? A weird combination of a US and UK one. The keyboard has an extra "\" key next to the left shift, but the enter key is horizontal like a US keyboard, with the "#" key above it. A typing disaster for everyone. Display: it could be the best part, but again, a miss with a highly-reflective dual-display. Who's the target here? As a working machine, the vivid display is useless. For entertainment, we don't need dual-displays. The rest of the laptop is great, if you like Windows 11. Fast and responsive. The dual-display with the kickstand is a great invention. That's why I kept it. You'll have a dual-display anywhere. Thank you, ASUS, for the invention. I hope they can fix these annoying mistakes in the next generation. Until then, I only recommend this machine if you work in a dark environment (reflective display), and if you can't type blindly (and won't hit the # whenever you want to hit enter and hit enter whenever you want #).

Stingy?!
This is my THIRD ASUS laptop in the zenbook series. Why, oh why, has ASUS NOT provided the wonderful sleeve? Or is it an Amazon issue? My other two laptops came with a beautiful sleeve. the duo didn't. Can ASUS please do the needful and supply their beautiful looking sleeve?

Catastrophic failure.
Thought this was going to be everything I wanted and was great at the beginning but had a catastrophic firmware failure that has cost me £3k+ to recover the data after 7 months of ownership. This is 5th Asus I have had and never had an issue before.

Not as powerful as it's should be
I love this laptop, it's like a sci-fi movie device and I'm really disappointed by how different from reality is it. First, my unit does a very strong rattling sound from the fan and, probably because it is unable to dissipate the heat properly, it shutdown under heavy load and I had to send it back, but that is not why I'm giving 3 stars, at the end of the day a defective unit can happen, I'm giving 3 stars because a friend of mine has a laptop with an i7 and a 4050 GPU which cost a lot less than this laptop outperforms it. From what I've read on a few forums, apparently that is due to the heat dissipation which is not designed properly (not surprisingly that's where the issue with my unit lies..) and it doesn't allow the i9 to work at top speed. If you do the math, you can buy an Asus with a RTX GPU for over £600 less, and then - if you like the double screen - you can buy a portable double screen for less than that difference. To be honest, if my unit wasn't making all that noise I would have keep it, at the end of the day you don't have a powerful GPU but you still have a great laptop with an unusual set of screens but, since I need to work as soon as possible, I'm taking the previous gen i7 with the smaller second screen on top of the keyboard (which is therefore always available without having to remove the keyboard) and an RTX GPU.

Amazing Concept but let down by poor hardware
I have purchase 2 of the Zenbook Duo 2024 the one with the dual screen and they both have the same hardware issue. The keyboard double types the letter E. As a lawyer its annoying to keep going back to edit it as it happens every 5 minutes second issue is the screen colours. One screen is brighter and cooler while the other is dimmer and warmer. There is no way to fix that. the battery life could be improved as it gives me around 5 hours with no media just work and constant email and browsing stuff. With a litte bit of youtube here and there. The dual screen are a blessing but i really hope this would last longer as there is so much potential. Watch how Amazon slashes the prices on this one as clearly it is not seller that well due to its hardware issues. I have spoken to ASUS and they have acknowledged the issue but keep saying send the device for repairs to Glasgow and you will be without a laptop for 14 days. I cant be asked to return a 2000gbp laptop to ASUS with a possibility that they may or may not repair it. So i will accept the reality take the bitter pill and return it back to Amazon. Apart from the 2 annoying issues above the device is flawless, crisp screen, amazing features using ASUS ScreenXpert software, intel Arc is brilliant for graphic work, i don't do gaming on laptop, the specs for the money are amazing, you do get a lot of tech for your money in comparison to other brands. Till ASUS fixes these issues, this is not for me. I'm gutted i couldn't use this laptop as it just makes so much sense to have 2 screens on a laptop. Guess i will wait for Jan 2025 for a Snapdragon Elite X chipset one with a dual screen that also supports 360.
