Extremely sturdy monitor mount. Having a 3/8” screw makes things feel extra secure when filming rollers on a highway!

I used this to mount an Atomos Ninja Ultra recording monitor onto a NEEWER cage handle with Arri-style pinned screw mount. The item mounted easily with no problems, and its all metal build seems rugged enough for sustained use, with convenient pan and tilt movements. Overall quality is comparable to SmallRig and other better-known brands. One minor complaint - the hinge was a little too tight as received, but it conveniently included a matched Allen wrench that allowed me to easily adjust the tension to a more usable setting.

I’ve had this Sirui mount for less than a year, and it’s already unusable. I only used it to hold a small light, but the screw never felt like it went in right from the start. Now it just keeps falling apart—the screw won’t stay in at all. For something that’s supposed to be durable, this was a letdown. Definitely expected better quality from Sirui.

This Sirui mount is solid and well made. Note to tilt just loosen the T knob a bit and the part will tilt forward or back. It rotates by just turning the unit. It is pretty snug and rotating is difficult; as it should be to keep it in position.

The item works, but one has to untighten the screws for the security latch on the nato clamp so you can get the shoe connected and disconnected. You also have to untighten the one end of the jointscrew as otherwise its completely not adjustable. Once you have done that it works.

Just received this but the build quality seems very good. Loosen the hinge screw when you first open it as it is super tight. Much better than my original smallrig version for less the price. I purchased the Arri mount.

this monitor mount was a letdown. it’s way too stiff and just not practical to work with. adjusting the angle takes way more effort than it should, which makes it a hassle when you need quick repositioning. build quality is solid, but a good mount should be both sturdy and easy to use this one misses the mark. if you don’t adjust your setup often, it might be fine, but for a fast-paced workflow, it’s not ideal.

This monitor mount differs from the typical mounts The Arri pin mount insures the mount will not loosen and slide out like the ones that are hot shoe mounted. The twist knob on the side is also a nice touch as it allows you to lock down your desired position. Tilt and swivel tension can be adjusted with the included allen key and when mounted on the front of a top handle it gives an ideal viewing position for your monitor. Also, cheaper than the Smallrig version.
