This kit comes beautifully presented. It arrives in a brown gift box and everything is wrapped in tissue paper with a pretty sticker. Everything enclosed is exactly as shown in the description. The acrylic paints are the standard paints you find in all of these types of kits. You need to keep the lid closed and shake it up or use a toothpick to stir it up. I brushed a few colors onto a sheet of paper and the colors were well pigmented and brushed smoothly. I'm waiting for a day off so I can go get myself a lovely vanilla cappuccino, sit back and create a beautiful work of art. I'm a huge crafter so an afternoon of painting, good music and cappuccino is equivalent to a spa day for me. I'm a beginner when it comes to painting and this kit is suitable for all skill levels. You get cards that give you ideas but you can create however you choose. I love that it comes with a wooden easel that I can use over and over again. This would also make an excellent gift for the artist in your life. Five stars!

I struggle with creating original art, yet I find the process satisfying and relaxing. I've done many paint-by-number paintings, as a result. This one is a little different, and a little simpler yet. No numbers on the paint or the canvas, but the pre-drawn image makes it easy to end up with a nice looking piece of art. It comes pre-stretched over the frame, which is always a plus. The paints are surprisingly nice to work with. I had to use two coats to achieve the nice smooth solid look I wanted, but it went on quickly and dried quickly, so that was fine. I appreciated the table cover and apron that were included. The brushes are decent enough for the project, and the four color schemes for painting it were great suggestions. A small easel is included, which I used to display the finished picture. They've also tucked in hardware for the back of the frame if you want to hang it on the wall. This was a quick and fun activity!
