Review: Some tips to help with aba therapy. - I bought this book looking for therapy tips. This book is filled with real life questions that people had asked her. Most of the tips were relevant to what i needed to know. It doesn't have many aspects that i ws looking for but each kid is different. This book is a little small though. It needed to have more tips. She should've added chapters full of her blog posts. Her blog would make a good book. Review: Helpful - This was helpful and I recommend to other parents with questions or issues they aren't sure what to do or how to change the behavior.

Good book
Good ideas and good book, but seems very opinionated and set in her way and ideals. I disagree with a few of her responses to situations due to my own experience but a good read

Not with it
If you have been around kids with developmental delays for more than a week this book is a waste of time. May be good for educational assistants that are new to the job or parents that have no idea what they are doing. It is an OK starting place but not really full of a lot of good info. I have seen blogs that had much better info.

I got this for families I support!
I purchased specifically for families I help and therapists I work with in the children s health mental field. I am a family partner and often I find myself recommending children for ABA services. Most don't understand what it is. This book gave really good examples for behaviors that our children deal with. I would love for the book to have a contents page and formatting. That would be helpful. Right now my book is all highlighted and flagged. Since ordering mine I know that 2 therapists have ordered this book!

This book was a disappointment. I read the reviewed the book on “look inside” and thought, perfect. However the examples are vague, basic and just common sense. I thought I was going to have “ways” to do ABA therapy in session. Example: acting out= do not engage behavior and stop aggressive behavior. I guess I was doing ABA therapy all along and was just calling it “normal behavior management”.

I love this book, I’m so grateful that the auhor shares her knowledge and experience! The cases and strategies described are extremely helpful, clearly written, and generalize well ❤️

Informative Book
This book was a quick informative read. If you just want to brush up on what you already know, or find more information about ABA techniques this book does the job.A good resource for anyone.

I work children with special needs, also with autists and found some useful tipps in this book. However I think the book is not worth the price since it is very thin and rather superficial.

Horrible, literally no in depth explanations or advice it all seems to be very point form one or two sentence paragraphs per topic. This book is a joke, don’t waste your money like I did.

This isn't what I expected, but I think I can use bits and pieces of the book for work, here and there.

It was not really a practical book for me. I think like a lot of parents I was looking for some inspirational life changing advice that will help me with my autistic child. Obviously there is no such book but this one gave me nothing.
