Carry a lot of ammo with ease..
If you need to carry 4 magazines, this is a good way to go. Takes the same space on a belt/vest, just twice as thick to accommodate the two additional magazines. The pouch has an inner plastic divider so the other magazines stay in place (and quiet) if one or more magazine is removed. The unique mounting hardware allows numerous solid (will not flop around) mounting options to include MOLLE webbing. The quality and durability is what you expect from Bianchi. It is a bit bulky, but worth it if you need to keep 4 magazines handy but secure and protected from snow, mud, dust, sand, etc.. I have only used it to carry true USGI magazines. I can not speak to he fit and function if aftermarket magazines with non-standard base plates are used. Side note: This will mount on the top of the drop leg extender (not my idea of a good place to try to reload from in a hurry) used with the M12 holster, but the bulkiness interferes with the draw stroke. I would suggest the thinner two magazine model if you just have to mount the pouch on the leg extender.

Great piece of military gear
To start off, this product is intended for metal magazines, if you wish to use the liner. I have personally tested the full capacity magazines of the following: Sig P226, Beretta 92/96, Ruger P-series. No rattle whatsoever. It appears to have been intended for metal magazine floor plates, as plastic floor plates are wide enough to interfere with each other between the front and back row. For those that wish to use the plastic floor plates, I would suggest the ordinary double magazine version.

An excellent magazine pouch. Design, build and materials come together to produce a quality product
Size 02 Quad Magazine Pouch This is a review from may be the edge of the mainstream for this magazine pouch. At the end, I’ll tell you why… In short: this is an excellent magazine pouch. Design, build quality and materials come together to produce a worth-while product. In long: I had a need for a magazine pouch that could hold both single-stack and double-stack magazines. I bought this double-stack version of the pouch over the single-stack, with the idea that a pouch that can hold 4 wider magazines would likely hold 4 narrower magazines. It turned out that this pouch can hold double-stack magazines if they’re for the right pistol. For example, I found that CZ75 magazines will not actually fit. (they can be forced into the plastic liner in the pouch, but they cannot then be removed without tools) Ok, fine. One magazine is not the same exact size as another. But, good for my needs, the pouch was fine for single-stack magazines. An important note for prospective buyers: unless you have some overwhelming, demanding “tactical” need to avoid the noise of magazines bumping against each other, just remove the plastic insert. Doing so allows the pouch to easily to hold all manner of double-stack magazines and also any number of other combinations of magazine shapes. Just do it, to save yourself a bunch of monkey-motion. That’s the review… …and here’s why: I was looking for a magazine pouch that I could mount on my LBE (load bearing equipment) - (or later, ALICE) belt and harness. At best, I would be able to use the pouch for both 1911-style single-stack magazines and 9mm double-stack magazines. That’s because of my local sportsman’s club’s monthly action-shoot, at which I enjoy shooting a 1911 and various 9mm double-stacks, including the original, the Browning Hi Power.

Quality
The great Bianchi quality we know and love. I just wish all the bullets faced forward. Two face forward and two face rearward. Good quality with an ingenious attachment system.

Great ammo pouch
I am able to fit four double stack Beretta 92 mags in with no problem. Steel or plastic end plate it doesn't matter. Seems to be put together well but I haven't really been rough on it yet. I'm putting two more to the "in cart" today.

Perfect fit for 4 - 9x18 Makarov clips!
I already owned 1 of these, and was trying to get the exact same thing and I did!! Like I said, it holds 4 9x18 Makarov single 8 shot clips perfectly. Brand new in original Bianchi packaging.

Think needs breaking in
The plastic pieces that hold the clips seem cheap. They don't have the shape of the mags. Very difficult to install my KimPro Tac Mag compact. They pull out fine, but putting in is a different story.
