my old counterfeit bill pen was marking all bills and regular paper with a black mark. Hence I knew that it was bad. I got this new one, and wellah, back to how it should mark bills, with a creamy color mark (not black)

I purchased this when we were selling a car for cash. It came in the normal packaging, but the top end was cut away! I was afraid this was a used and dry item, but it worked fine. Still, the packaging should not have been opened for a new product! (Therefore, I remove one star.) I end up giving the pen to the guy who purchased the vehicle as his wife runs a daycare and deals a lot in cash. I recommend purchasing -- but watch the packaging!

not much to say other than the price was right and it works as it should. I've used it to check 100s of bills so far and no sign of losing ink. no brainer

Hopefully an accurate way of spotting a fake bill. Although easy to use I have read that it may not be completely reliable.
