Epicness
This truck is epic! Very durable and fast. Needs a few tweaks such as strengthening the weak steering by replacing the spring in the servo saver with a stronger spring from the Kimbrough servo saver. I would also recommend having extra shock rod ends on hand as they seem to be a breaking point on hard impacts. Also the center differential could use some thicker fluid. I went with 20 mil but might try something lighter to avoid uncontrollable wheelies. Other than that you will not be disappointed with this truck! The handling is top notch and my favorite part is the stable wheelies you can pop anytime you want on literally any surface!

High-Powered Stunt Truck Built to Bash
The ARRMA Outcast is an absolute blast to drive and delivers outstanding performance. The power from the 4S BLX system is impressive, providing fast acceleration, high top speeds, and incredible stunt capability right out of the box. Wheelies, jumps, and flips are handled with ease. Build quality is excellent, with a durable chassis and strong suspension that can take hard landings and rough terrain without issue. The 4WD system offers great traction and control, making it easy to handle on dirt, grass, and pavement. Reliability has been solid, and the truck feels well-engineered for long-term use. Overall, this RC truck is perfect for anyone looking for high performance, durability, and nonstop fun. Whether you’re bashing at the skate park or tearing up the backyard, the Outcast delivers every time. Highly recommended.

Good truck
Awesome truck. It's my wife's favorite because she can just truly bash and have a great time. Pulls flips easily. I like the truck a lot as well and rip it often. Tank of a truck. My biggest con is that this gets HOT! Servo and servo saver are weak and sloppy. Upgraded servo and servo help but does not cure the problem. Will be adding hobbywing ezrun 3665 2400kv because of the heat issues. My ESC lags randomly. Tried different reciever/transmitter and still had same issue.

Rocket basher!
This thing is an insane amount of fun! Can't speak on durability yet, plenty of YT reviews for after a span of time, but it is so fast on a 4s battery it's exhilarating. This is the V2 (not the V2.5 which has great upgrades). I had contemplated getting the V2.5 but once I found out the battery tray was much shorter due to the upgraded diff, I decided to go with the V2 to keep my battery options larger. Battery and charger is sold separately. Running a 100c 4s 8000mah EC5 connector lipo from ovonic and it'll fit perfectly once you remove the battery thumb lever. I've just been running it (no jumping or tricks yet) around to get a feel for it. Tested speed limiters (50% is still extremely powerful so consider that if buying for a child), servo is responsive, trans/gears distribute power well, has great range, no whining like some have reported, controller sync can be tricky (car on then controller on, opposite for powerdown), etc. Takeoff is so powerful, if you full throttle it, it'll try to flip backwards (a redesigned/modded wheelie bar is probably a good idea at least at first to prevent it). So easy to wheelie and itll try to jump anything it drives over. Great tires, looks great. If you want to preserve your body longer, I suggest reinforcement (shoo-goo and gorilla tape hair dried is the most common practices). The ESC is a smart module so if you get a spektrum smart battery and smart controller (like the DX5 or DX5C) it will transmit telemetry to the remote (battery, speed, etc saving extra costs of sensors). For the price, $450 on Jan 19 2024, this is a great amount of fun. I've told all my friends that might be interested in the hobby.

A BEAST!
I've had MANY cars years ago. Probably 15 years ago...Stampede, rustler, super Blackfoot, RC10GT, T-MAXX 3.3 and even OG T-maxx plus a lot of others. Nitro was awesome but with tech advancements in batteries thought I'd get back into hobby and try this thing out. Grabbed two 4S 6200mah 80c ZEE batteries (also seem awesome) It can run (2) 2S packs two, has 2 battery trays! So I was blasting around and thinking man this things fast! Then realized I had controller on 50 percent throttle mode. Also had 75 percent setting. I turned it up to 100. Throttle stab and it blew my mind! This things a gorilla! You can pull a wheelie at 25-30mph! Man I can't wait till weather breaks and I can get out to enjoy it more! Far as durability alit of YouTube videos show this thing going through hell and eating it up. I'll be jumping it but take good care of my stuff so feel it'll last me many hours of solid fun. Sure I'll break things here n there but that's part of the game. ALSO PAY ATTENTION WHEN ORDERING. I'm pretty certain the blue and the bronze are the V2 models and the other 2 are the older models. V2 has metal gears and other upgrades! Same price so watch which one your order... obviously I'd go with the newer upgraded V2! Hope this helps someone out and just know your getting a truly awesome RC truck with SERIOUS power. This is not a truck for a little kid. I'd say intermediate RC driver...it'll do nearly 60mph!

Most durable? Nope
I got this truck because i heard the awesome things about it, and it looks nice... out of the box first 5 minutes were great just taking it easy at 50 - 75% . Then issues start happening. 2 rear axles shredded . that threw me off, never had an rc break so fast. after inspecting it seemed like the axles werent pushed in all the way in to the diff and shredded the inner driveshafts... i now had to get 2 new shafts , fast forward to getting it fixed up. Playing for 10 minutes and i hear grinding from my front diffs when i hit reverse, now i have to purchase another expensive part, keep in mind this rc already cost 500$ and only played it for under 20 minutes total. My experience with this truck wasnt great. Debating if its worth to fix it.

outcast V2.5 is a bashing beast
I just replaced my outcast v2 under warranty. Made no sense it needs 5 bucks in parts but hey thats Amazon for ya. So i bought the same truck in the newest model the V2.5 this thing is a beast. So much stronger. The center diff and no slipper clutch design is a little odd to get used to but so so controlable. Did a backflip off the living room wall from 6 inches away and made a perfect back flip landing exactly 8 feet from the wall and flat landed. The steering is so much more responsive then the V2 and the punch at factory setting is just insane. If you want a strait up basher that will take some fun this is it. My Traxxas emaxx lasted 10 minutes out of the box the v2 went 2 years before losing a single axle pin and bushing. After the warranty was approved i went for one last full tilt bash. Caught 30 plus feet of air and hit a 4 inch schd40 drain pipe ... I have to replace the pipe but the truck didnt care a bit. 25 year rc monster truck fan found his last truck!
