The roll-down closure used allows the product to be lightweight and flexible however some water can wick through the closure over time. This can be minimized by rolling the closure as tightly as possible 6 times.

Q: What cleaning products can be used to wash clothes in the Allurette delicates washer?

Laundry liquids, powders and sheets can all be used in the Allurette washer (even shampoo or bodywash if you are desperate). Please ensure powders or sheets are fully dissolved before adding clothing to the portable washing machine.

Q: Does the Allurette washer remove stains?

Independent testing shows that the Allurette washer gives a machine quality wash. However, just like with your home washing machine some stains need to be pre-treated before washing. Travel stain removing pens work well with the Allurette washer.

Q: Can I soak clothes in the Allurette washer?

While the Allurette washer is designed for washing clothes in just minutes, you can soak clothes if needed. As the roll-down closure isn't 100% waterproof, the Allurette washer should be placed upright in a shower, bath or basin during soaking.
