I switched to using these dashi packets as the price has risen considerably on the individual ingredients and gotten to be difficult to find here in Idaho. Simmered and steeped, these are convenient, and as easy to use as a tea bag! This soup base is perfect for miso soup, nabe pot, and all my dashi needs. The ingredients are well balanced and free of unwanted preservatives and stabilizers. Each packet can easily make 3-4 cups of good tasting dashi. Made in Japan and I appreciate that Amazon warehouses these.

Really tasty dashi stock, and very simple and quick to prepare. Smelled a little funky dry, but was excellent once boiled with the veggies. Easy to just plop in and microwave for a rich tasting meal. Better than granulated dashi, and better than my own try at anchovy/kelp broth.

I give the Grelim dashi packets five stars, but truth be written, I haven't used any other dashi packets so I have nothing to compare them to. Regardless, the flavor is great for my miso soups. Easy to use and seems to store well in my pantry.

This Dashi stock teabag is very tasty in my Japanese soup bowl. It has more of a concentration of 3 different kinds of dried fish. And because of its structure in a teabag, the flavors in hot water are a breeze in developing its special taste and purity. Exceptional cost in a small package. Very easy to make and add all your other ingredients for a perfect bowl of soup for one! It smells delicious on its own too!

Convenient, good flavor. However, you may need a couple of packets to get the flavor profile that is more authentic

This product is amazing and extremely strong in flavor, whenever I make miso soup, I reach for this dashi stock. It only takes 8 minutes of simmering in hot water and the soup becomes so strong and flavorful all around. I use one packet for 2-3 cups of water and it never disappoints me with how it tastes.

Bought this for it's purity of ingredients. I did read reviews about this being too weak or too strong... quite the mix of responses. I was surprised how small the packets were, & also surprised at how how perfect that amount turned out to be for flavoring 3 cups (water). Tried adding a little more water - Don't... unless you're looking for a somewhat weaker taste. All in all though, I found the taste quite delicious... of course we're all different, but this is what I was looking for, hoping...
