I have a DFS "Newbury" sofa with power recliners failing. After DFS refusing to help at all even though it was only a few years old, I investigated myself, ruled out the motor etc, and was left with the control circuitry being the culprit - sure enough, swapping over the button and wiring from a working unit got it going again - but that eventually failed too. Took a chance on this one even though it's a little different to what was removed from the Newbury sofa - in particular, the original from the sofa had a plastic box part way along the cable with a small circuit board inside, so I wasn't sure if this would work, but it was cheap enough to give it a go - and it worked absolutely perfectly - control over the recliner works just fine, USB charging port works just fine, and it's backlit too. It was easy to fit - the 5-pin DIN plug connects straight up to the couch, and the button housing fits in the existing hole in the side of the sofa perfectly. So, if you've a DFS Newbury sofa with a recliner mechanism that's not working, this item should save the day for you - it did for me. Also, I wouldn't buy a sofa from DFS again, that's for sure.

Bought this as a replacement for my DFS sofa as the USB port had stopped functioning. Great option, in fact as it’s illuminated it’s better than the original. Easy to install only took 10 minutes. Will buy again.

Works and fits perfectly. Lazyboy replacement. Didn't think it would work as the 1 i removed had a circuit board in line. But it works perfectly

Easy to fit, does exactly as they describe. Wasn't the same as my original, as I wanted the USB feature, but worked, nonetheless. No issues.

Bought to replace switch where motor was working but usb had stopped. Simple replacement and all good. Hardest part was fishing the cable through the chair.

Switch on DFS Newbury sofa failed and this is the perfect replacement as it is virtually identical, connector and dimensions are the same but also has Blue LED. Easily fitted in under 10 mins.

ideal para sustituir una botonera de un sillon averiado de conforama, lo cambias lo conectas y a funcionar perfectamente

Cambié el motor que creaba chispas por este y ya lo tengo funcionando , funcionaba el derecho pero al poner el izquierdo daba el chispazo , pensar en esto antes de pensar que está roto
