I didn’t realize this replacement breach wouldn’t come with all the necessary components. If I had known that I would have bought a breach replacement kit, and I would suggest the same to anyone else. It’s much easier when all the right parts come in the same package. I was pretty disappointed with the purchase.

Finally got rid of my plastic breech and installed this aluminum one. They don't include a shorter back screw so I had to trim the original one as to not pinch and deform my hammer spring. Also, you have to upgrade your bolt probe to a two piece as the original doesn't screw apart but is press fit. So realistically if you order this you better have an additional 20-30 bucks for the other parts too.

It's okay and functions. Had to add an extra rubber washer from ace to get it air tight. Plus drilled out the back hole deeper for tight fit. It's okay on the 1377 but needs better tolerances between airtube and breach.

Got this as a gift and it works great on my 2240. Its not as nice as my other Stainless Cothran Machine breach, but its also less money and a huge upgrade over the stock plastic breach. If you have any clue of the 22xx lineup and airgun building, you will know you need other parts to make this work (2pc bolt, hardware, etc). The product description clearly says/shows what you get..
