Genuine Traditional Guernsey Jumper from The Channel Islands

Arrived on time and well packaged. I ordered a size 48 though i am usually a 44 depending on how much i've eaten and the ability of highstreet stores to size properly. This has left some room to breathe and is at the moment a comfortable loose sizing. The sleeves and neck are nice and tight regardless so this makes a looser fit more practical. The wool is rough as described and does require an long sleeve t-shirt under it in my opinion but it is very warm! As an aside, i have had low quality jumpers that have lasted a good couple of years, but it only takes you a minute to know that this one will last forever. The weight alone tells you that and the close weave gives you a bombproof impression. Well worth the money. Get a size bigger and save everyones time, but one size is enough.

Excellent quality and value. I had an authentic Guernsey jumper nearly 40 years ago. Receiving this one today was no disappointment, the quality and comfort was just as good I remembered. The size of the jumper ordered was, as was suggested, one size bigger than I would normally buy and it fits well. It does need a tee shirt underneath it as it is a bit scratchy without it but it will soften with age if I remember rightly.How nice to buy something as good a quality as the same product was many years ago. Nostalgic craftsmanship.

Fabulous jumper- love the colour, pattern and texture. Highly recommend this Guernsey. Initially, I ordered too big a size but Channel Jumper had no hesitation in exchanging it for the correct size. Ordered this denim Guernsey to complement my navy version. I’m a size 40 and the navy fitted perfectly though an inch on arm length would be welcome. This was also a 40 inch and again fitted perfectly but again, a little shy on the sleeve length. It’s really well made again, good quality but I find it not as substantial as the navy. It doesn’t seem to have that ‘Guernsey’ weight that you expect. It’s not a complaint, just an observation. I still love it though I would love it more if a tad heavier/thicker. I still highly recommend this company. Post and packing is excellent. Customer service is too.

I love this jumper. It’s very well-made. Surprisingly weighty and tough. It looks like it’s going to last years. The label says it’s also reversible so if it gets worn on one side you can reverse it!Read the washing instructions carefully: cool wash only.Sizing? Follow everyone else’s advice: go one size up for the jumper. (I also ordered the zip version which didn’t need the extra size). Colour? Navy was perfect: visually it hides any folds (mine and the jumpers).The after sales service was excellent: no problem returning the zip-version.Now I’m looking forward to some cold weather as an excuse to show it off.

As other reviewers suggested, bought a size bigger. Jumper arrived two days earlier than expected! Fantastic fit, superb quality and outstanding seller (channel jumper). If you are lost in the maze of available jumpers of possibly varying quality and price you would be well advised to seriously consider one of these, they may appear to be pricey but it will be a long time before you need to buy another. However, you may well want to buy another! If you do, great, you’ll have two fantastic jumpers. Well done Channel Jumper👍👍

This is a Guernsey or high quality and the details are perfect. I have had a number of this style of jumper for over thirty years and in my opinion, this is the best one. The wool is that hard-wearing worsted material that manages to be soft at the same time. I noticed this especially around the neck where it is so comfortable. Reading other reviews about the size, I ordered a 44 instead of my usual size of 42. I think that this was, for me, a good decision.

I bought a size 48 knowing I would wear something underneath the Guernsey Jumper, and the fit is good. Not as scratchy as my previous Guernsey but the quality is really good, arrived ahead of schedule and well presented in its Channel Jumper box. So I am looking forward to wearing it for the next 20 years and buying some almond oil to use in the rinse after hand-washing.
