K&K Heated Curling Brush - 1.5 Inch Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Volumizing Hot Brush for Root Volume & Loose Curls (Black)

I have been searching for so very long to find a dual voltage hair tool that works. I have literally a drawer full of flat-iron, curling irons, hot brushes, rollers, one step volumizer ….etc. I do like the one-step volumizer by Revlon but it is not dual voltage & it’s huge & heavy. The key to overseas travel is to pack light. I was not blessed with hair you can just wash & go. I have fairly thin, fine hair. I also want to look as good as I can and my hair needs help. I received this curling comb yesterday (it is NOT a hair dryer) and it works perfectly! I was excited to sit down & review this so that others might be able to finally stop their searching & be happy to have just the right hair tool for travel. Hear are some main benefits: 1. It will switch automatically to the proper voltage (the ones you have to manually switch aren’t good because they will only operate on the low setting when on the different voltage). 2. It heats up super fast (another device I have takes about 5 min) and let’s you know it’s at temperature with beeps. 3. It also turns off automatically after one hour (another device I have didn’t have auto shut off & has accidentally been left on all day which ruined the plastic bristles because of the excessive heat for so long and they broke off. 4. The bristles hold on to your hair close to the barrel but don’t tangle it. 5. It is lightweight (perfect for travel). 6. Ceramic Tourmaline for smooth non frizzy results. 7. 350 degrees is probably a little hot for my hair type but I don’t have to leave it in but seconds so it’s not going to damage my hair. 8. The 1.5” barrel is just right for volume & curl (1” is just too tight). 9. Perfect to refresh my hair. I’m trying not to wash my hair every day but it goes totally flat if I don’t (and it’s thin) so I have to do something with it. This is perfect to give some lift & curl on day #2. 10. (Because I wanted to have “The 10 best things about this” - is that it’s comfortable to handle, has a cool tip, (so you wont burn your fingers) and the cord doesn’t tangle up (ok that’s really 12 but whose counting?). I have read some of the previous reviews and I hope this one lasts a long time & certainly longer than three months. But to tell you the truth - even if it did only last three months - I’d buy it again!

Very happy with this curling iron and it works great to smooth and straighten my hair. However, it only gets 4 out of 5 stars because it lacks that little brace that swings out so you can can prop it up. I prop mine carefully on the edge of the ceramic sink, because the wand gets very hot.

This exceeded my expectations. It seemed to be one of the only curling iron brushes with a larger barrel I could find. So if you have longer hair and don't want a tight curl, this works perfect. It heats up in seconds. It smooths my hair as it curls. I wash my hair the night before then wake up and use this to style. It has totally changed the way I feel about my hair and it saves me time every morning because it does what it says it can do. Thank you!! Love it!

It only worked a couple of times. It did not work in anything but an American plug; it didn’t work with an adapter. It broke by the third use- it got a slightly warm but didn’t heat enough to style. Don’t waste your money.

I ordered this in Oct. ‘24 and have loved it until now. It’s Jan. ‘26 and so many bristles have fallen out. I used the rake to clean out the hair today and so many bristles broke off that there are almost none left. Really disappointing.

I was going between this brand and Hot Tools but Hot Tools is more expensive and the size was bigger, knowing it won’t really give me the curls I want. I had bought another brand like this but returned it because it did not get hot enough and could have been faulty so decided to try this brand which is a little more but well worth it. Very easy to use, one setting which is hot enough but not too hot. It has two hard comb bristles on each sides for better hold for styles besides the soft bristles all around. The size is not too small or too big, giving you easier and faster way to straighten and also giving ability to curl if you needed. Oh, and it’s pretty lightweight. Tips for curly or course hair ladies, after washing your hair, always put leave-in conditioner and heat protectant so that when hair dries and you use hot styling tools, it will be be a lot easier on your hair and with styling. 🙂

I got this after two people I follow on Instagram mentioned it and I am not disappointed. This is a really simple and easy to use tool and it works sooooo fast! It's light weight, doesn't yank or pull your hair too tight. I will say, don't believe the listing that it "doesn't damage your hair" because all heat will damage your hair. Always use a heat protectant. That being said, my hair doesn't feel fried and crispy after I use this. It's very smooth. This can be use for waves, bouncy blow out ends, or a straighter look. I've had luck getting some good volume with it too. Long story long, I totally recommend.

Bought this to be able to do my hair at a destination wedding and didn’t want any of my expensive tools to possibly break as we were in a different country with different outlets and using adapters. It worked fantastic and I now reach for this often over my curling iron or revlon brush. My mom loves it too and often borrows it. For reference I have long wavey hair. My hair is fine but I have a ton of it so it often takes awhile to do anything with it. This tool was relatively fast. My mom who has short curly hair that often frizzes with humidity was impressed how well it worked on her hair, how quick it was, and how the style lasted even though we were in almost 40 Celsius. Highly recommend.

Me pareció alto el precio y no alacia a la par de modelar, si da cuerpo en las puntas, pero no alisa en su totalidad.

10/10 The 1.5 inch brush works great on my long frizzy hair, now I get salon finish at home.
