I was looking for a front-door lock with certain features, and this was it. It was even better when actually in hand and installed, because it looks good and works smoothly. Installation went painlessly, and within 24 hrs of a call to the 1800 toll-free given on the package. Ease of purchase, and promptness of delivery, was traditional Amazon - top class. A very good experience in all aspects.

The free installation from godrej is not up to mark. They just do it to complete their call, not for quality work or customer satisfaction. They charged me 100 rupees for installation saying my area not covered under free installation.

Before buying I called Godrej to check if my area is freely servicable and they said yes. After buying, when I called them to schedule installation, they are asking for additional 300 rupees. Product also doesn't look as good as it looks in the picture.

Do I need to say anything about the quality of this item. The reason why I purchased this lock was that the older rim lock of my rented house of the same model but non-Ultra keys could be opened by the key-maker within minutes, and we had theft in my locality some days back, due to which I wanted to change to this lock. Now when I leave my house, I can take out my new pin-cylinder and re-install the older one with rented house lock and take my complete new set with me to my next house and install it again. One thing that I should share, which is not given anywhere in Godrej literatures or anywhere online is that if you have a normal Godrej Twinbolt Rim-lock, then you do not have to retrofit the entire lock, just change the pin cylinder - one of the two differences would be that the key hole would be lateral instead of original vertical, and the second difference would be that the lock would be sightly tighter than the earlier one. I did the installation myself so I cant say about the installation quality of the regular installers. Please also note to check the Pin's length, once the pin is cut to proper length, the lock works smooth.
