FIRST, do not try to get through any security check point carrying this. It looks very dangerous. Now, for the review. This is what it claims to be, a treasure trove of video games from the early days of video gaming. It has Mario, yes, Super Mario, 3-D Mario, just to get started. I searched for Moon Patrol, and there it was. It has Nicolas Golf, and more Street Fighter games than you can imagine. Excellent, rugged, heavy, unit. I am impressed. You can play it either with the console buttons and joystick or connect the included hand-held controller and sit back and play games. It will take you a few minutes to figure it out, but I will leave that to you. PacMan and Woman are here too. Nostalgia for the oldsters and fabulous fun portable games for the kids. I thought about giving this as a gift to the grandkids, but NO WAY. I am keeping this! Hours and hours of relaxing fun. Oh, and a warning, if your use the hand-held controller, by the end of the day you will get that old Nintendo thumb ache from pushing the buttons so hard. If you want a flash of the past, I doubt you can beat this. Oh, and yes, one player can use the console and the other the hand-held controller for head-to-head competition. This is the one to get.

I had high hopes for this. It's very well built. Made of metal. A little bit heavy. But when I turned it on, I could not see anything on the built-in screen. I could hear what sounded like a demo running but nothing on the screen. It was blank. Too bad. I had to return it to Amazon.

If there was a game list I would have never bought this unit. 20,000 plus games and none of the games I played when I was younger; thousands of repeats of karate games with different names. Plus the “Pause” button is misspelled. If you enjoyed classic arcade games, you will be disappointed with this unit. Don’t buy this unit!!! No good!!!!

I would actually give this device 4 1/2 stars, but unfortunately that is not an option. I bought two of these units for my kids that are still at home. The game selection is decent, with a wide variety of games to choose from. It also comes with an extra controller that can be used either for a second player, or instead of using the on-deck controls (which one of my kids preferred). There appears to be no controller lag whatsoever with either function. The unit is built sturdy and is made to last. As a bonus, the rings around the button to appear to light up. The only negatives I found would be the game search function doesn't quite work right, and if you get into an extreme graphics intensive situation during game play, you might get a bit of temporary stuttering but nothing that severely detracts from game play. Overall, for 128 bucks, and at this time a 5% off coupon to boot, I would certainly recommend this system for some casual gaming fun and reliving memories of hanging at the arcade.

Great portable arcade box. Full of tons of arcade games (mame) which was exactly what I was looking for. Connects with an hdmi cable seamlessly to my tv for big screen playing. Controls and game search are acceptable. The games are previewed in a small window so you can see if its something you're interested in playing. Satisfied with my purchase!

Came in Japanese, had to use AI to figure out how to get the menu in English. Once we did that we couldn’t get the controller it came with to work. The arcade controller piece worked but the controller to play 2 players would not work. We had to return it. The return-refund process was easy so that was a plus!

If you look closely at the pictures that they show you, it’s not technically the same machine. The one that advertise has the jam pack but the one that I got takes a SD chip meeting is like probably android powered. It works good. I’m just worried that it might stop working one day.
