Nice gate. The only difference between the gate and the rail system is that the gate cables are plastic coated while the rest of the Muzata cable rail system is simply black cable with no coating. Still looks good though.

They use sticky round washers to attach each washer to the side. That’s not going to hold. When you tighten down the cable it pulls out from the attachment.

Don’t even think about trying to build your own gate. This thing is perfect for my porch.

Pay special attention when ordering as dimensions on photo are inaccurate for the 42” version. They show width being 38” and height being 36”; however, it’s actually the opposite. I have a wide opening I was hoping to use this gate for and it unfortunately won’t work for me as a result of the photo dimensions being off. Otherwise, looks like it would have been a great gate if it fit.
