It's a sturdy enough pitcher, but it is not a Ball jar like in earlier reviews and I'm a little disappointed about that. Besides that it's almost exactly what I was looking for, except the pour spout is really, really hard to open. I do have arthritis in my hands and early stages of carpal tunnel but I'm only in my early 40s, so if you have regular hand pain and weakness don't buy this. I'm mostly using it to keep water in the fridge so I'll probably just use it without the cap snapped all the way down.

Using glass (again) for ice tea is so much nicer than a plastic pitcher. Maybe the plastic pitcher in our house was showing it's age and use. It had discolored and no amount of cleaner and scrubbing helped make it visually appealing. This jar and lid does the job! The lid is firm with both sitting on the glass top and opening. Looks nice sitting in the fridge door and can tell fast if more tea needs to be made. Now would like to get one for milk.

I use this to do my coffee at one time n put in fridge so I can make my cold coffee morning. Luv it so much.

I use it for breast milk! Perfect!
