Upon first glance, I was instantly struck by the high-quality materials and the sophisticated design. There was no difficulty in the installation procedure, and the screen was a great match for my widescreen monitor that was 27 inches in size. I believe that the adhesive is strong enough to hold the filter firmly in place, yet it does not leave any residue when it is removed. This is a nice feature for those individuals who may want to swap it between other displays or remove it sometimes. If I wanted to keep anyone from looking at my screen from the sides, one of the primary reasons I bought this privacy screen was to prevent them from doing so. Especially when I periodically hold meetings or cooperate with coworkers in an open workplace atmosphere, knowing that my work would stay secret makes me feel a great deal more comfortable. Because of the privacy filter, the viewing angle is effectively narrowed, which ensures that only I am able to see the screen in its entirety, while others are able to see a blurry display from the sides. My mind is now at ease, and I am able to concentrate more intently on the duties at hand without being distracted by the possibility of being watched by others.

I love this screen. People can stand off to my side behind me but nothing. Directly in front is perfect. Fit is a bit short so I lowered it to make a perfect fit. Easy install with the tape they supply. Great for my privacy and an even better price for my wallet. OH the tape sticks like superglue that you can remove and use again. Functional for my needs.

If want a screen that makes it a little dimmer but doesnt provide any privacy this is for you.

A few things that make this not the greatest of buys. The price makes it seem similar to other shields but doesn't work as well as intended. First of all, there are absolute no instructions for installation. Fortunately very intuitive but still not ideal. The blue light shield and angular aspect of it is good but it's priced like something that also has a distance shield. Does very little to actually protect the screen or hide stuff. A person can be straight on from 30 feet away and still see screen contents. My past experience with privacy shields usually means they darken within 10 - 15 feet, not this one.

While I work at home, privacy is still a consideration. Normally I am alone when working however if someone should walk in to the room this screen protects the private information that is on my screen. This is not something I deal with daily however one thing I do deal with daily is the eye strain from staring at a large computer monitor and the tension headaches this causes quite frequently. This screen protector not only keeps the information private, it helps keep my eyes free of strain and my head free of aches. My whole body is so much more relaxed all day and that makes my work go so much smoother. I am not sure it they should call this a privacy screen, a glare free screen or a whole body relaxation screen. It really has made my days much easier and more comfortable to deal with.
