Reliable, Responsive, and Great Value for the Price
I’ve been using the GameSir G7 SE for about six months now, and it has genuinely impressed me. The controller feels very responsive, with precise inputs that make a noticeable difference in fast-paced games. The build quality is solid, and even after extended use, I’ve had no issues with stick drift or sticky buttons which is a big plus. One of the standout features is the customization. The companion app is simple and straightforward to use, making it easy to adjust settings and fine-tune the controller to your preference. You get a lot of flexibility without it feeling complicated, and for most players, it offers everything you’d realistically need. The only important thing to note is that this controller is wired, so it does need to be plugged in at all times. If you’re specifically looking for a wireless option, you may want to look into other models. For PC and Xbox use, though, this works perfectly. The inclusion of a free month of Game Pass is also a nice bonus and adds extra value. Overall, this is an easy 5-star product for me. Great performance, strong customization options, and excellent reliability so far. I’d happily recommend it over a standard controller.

Great value
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ I recently got the Gamesir G7 SE controller and overall it’s a solid pick for PC gaming. The build feels sturdy and ergonomic, it fits nicely in my hands even during longer sessions. I had no trouble connecting it to my PC and games responded well with no noticeable lag. The triggers and buttons are responsive and comfortable to press. The Hall effect sticks ensure that it’s going to be reliable for years to come too!

So Good, So Far
So far, So good. Sick of the official xbox controller's getting stick drift within about a month of use. Seen videos about the GameSir controller's being a better option, So here I am. Only about 2 weeks in and the controller feels good. Good build quality, feels the same as an official xbox controller in hands. Not using the button's on the back so locked them and they do not feel annoying or in the way as I was sceptical about. Only 1 negative thing I have noticed but its not game breaking is when you have headset/headphones plugged into the controller there is a very slight electrical interference noise come through the headset when there is no game sound. For example on dashboard screen etc.. It is very slight and some people may not hear it. Never heard it with official controller's. Other than that it is a good alternative to the official controller's and hopefully there will be no stick drift but only time will tell. As for delivery there was no issues and delivered when stated

Great controller, few minor inconveniences
Really good controller for the price, the hairpin triggers are great and the anti stick drift is a really good feature as I can play with 0 deadzones. I only have three problems with the controller so far and both can be fixed or adapted to, since my last controller was an elite the sticks on the G7 feel a little stiff but I've found using control freaks fix that problem, and the menu buttons on the G7 are a little higher than a normal Xbox controller which takes a little adapting to, my last little critique is the super sensitive dpad. Other than a few minor inconveniences, great controller would recommend.

🎮 Best for Price 🎮
The best £49.99 controller I've used on Xbox. I bought one for my wife & was so impressed I bought myself one too. These replaced our Xbox Elite 2 controllers, which are much more expensive. The software is very good, & the joypads have 4 profiles which include sound profiles, so you can set your sound levels for 4 different games which is an unexpected feature. What the wired connection loses you in living room mobility it makes up for in latency and not requiring charging. You just have to make sure you set the software up how you like it via their free Xbox App. I changed the D-Pad to use the Diagonal Lock which removes diagonal inputs. This increases precision on menues, such as the Xbox dashboard.

Great gaming controller
I got this controller because I kept getting stick drift on all others controllers I bought. This one is great and it has anti stick drift, so it wont break. It feels really comfortable in my hands when I play and all the buttons feel nice and accessible. I use it with my PC and it connects without any issues. The size is good too. I highly recommend this controller for gaming and its the best I have ever used.

Designed to break - Don't buy
About 1 month in, the x button lost it's click, it's very dull now and it's hard to know if the button is being pressed. 4 months in and the lb button has done the same and while holding it down it seems to change between pressed and not pressed. For the games that I play, this button is essential and now that it doesn't function, the entire controller is practically useless. As with many Xbox imitations and actual Xbox controllers, I've attempted to take it apart to see if I could fix the issue. The construction is such that as soon as you open it, buttons fly everywhere. They do NOT want you trying the fix the problem. Every single time, the same thing happens, I can't find out what's wrong (because they're designed to fail), so I try to put it back together and, hey, look at that, with the slightest application of pressure (which you have to apply to get it back together) a part has broken off, rendering the entire controller useless. Funny that it always seems to be a similar tiny part too. It's difficult to express in words how frustrating the internal design is, I am 100% convinced this is so you cannot fix it yourself. I'm getting increasingly annoyed at companies who create products that are intentionally made to break after a short while. And so, this is yet another product lost to greed via planned obsolence. And if you don't think this is the case, I have a megadrive controller from almost 30 years ago, the buttons on that still function. How does that make any sense?

Comparing this to an Xbox 1st party controller makes me wonder how big vendors still get away with charging the prices they do. For a lower price you're getting a perfect lightweight and robust controller, featuring Hall Effect sticks (no stick drift) and 2x customisable back paddles, Feels great in the hands and just as good to play with as your standard and even elite 1st party Xbox Controllers Would highly recommend looking into the GameSir range if you care about value

Overall the controller is great, many of my perceived flaws are my personal preferences so I that won't reflect in my score but I'll include it in the review since it could be helpful to some. BEFORE USING THE CONTROLLER Downloading the companion app and turning the "raw" settings on for the sticks is absolutely necessary, without it the sticks are inaccurate and some games are literally unplayable. In Baldur's Gate 3 it's difficult to select certain options on the selection wheel and in Lightyear Frontier the game is actually unplayable since you can't complete the tutorial because you cannot select required options in the crafting wheel. Another Hall Effect controller had the same issue but they fixed it in a firmware update, hopefully Gamesir does the same but turning on "raw" works in the interim. Certain button placements are awkward for me, the buttons on the bottom are too easy for me to press so I keep them off even in competitive games that I would normally like to use them. The back and select buttons are in an awkward location and require you to shift your entire hand around the controller to press them. Missed Opportunity The fact that this controller has removable sticks but Gamesir doesn't offer a selection of longer sticks or different shape grips or even premium versions is supremely disappointing. I would pay extra for an accessory kit that includes longer stick selections, even more for one with metal parts and I'd even pay for metal anti friction rings for the faceplate. I don't like domed sticks myself but I'm sure others would like the opportunity to pay for them.

The controller feels good, works well, and is priced affordably. No issues so far. Works as advertised.
