I've wanted an IPL device for awhile and I'm so excited about this product. This is my first time using a device like this. The instructions are clear and the app makes set-up and getting started super easy. My skin tone and hair color are a great match for using this device and the skin test provided in the app confirmed it. I had no discomfort or redness after my first use. It took a little trial and error to get the hang of how to hold the device and make perfect contact with the skin in certain areas like around the ankles and knees, but the variety of device heads included made switching it up super simple. I'm impressed with the quality of the whole package including the packaging and instructions, the app, the device, and I especially love all the accessories and the storage bag that are included. The cord on the device is super long which is very helpful. I experienced little to no pain using the device. Some sensitive areas had a little sting for a split second while the device flashed, but there was no lingering discomfort. I can't wait to see how effective this is over the course of use, I'm feeling very positive that it will give great results. The app is going to be so handy for sending me treatment time reminders and tracking my goals to hair free skin!

Opening up the product you immediately are provided a large card with a QR code to link you to their app. The app provides initial setup including instructions and a test step as well as scheduling features in order to keep track of your sessions. The app provides a means to track multiple different areas that you are working on that may have a different schedule or been started at different times. This is a really nice feature which helps ensure proper use and effect. Using the actual product is quite easy and while very bright (might want to wear sunglasses) the feeling of being zapped is small and tolerable. The manual suggests you just look away but I found that not only a bit awkward but also less user friendly than just watching it with protective eyewear on. In general the manual suggests that so long as the product is pressed firmly on the skin, the light emitted will not hurt you but it is bright. My only grip with the product is the confusion between the app and the manual. It seems to me, although I may be wrong about this, you have to pair the device to the app before it'll actually start zapping. The manual however does not mention this step at all. The instructions are quite clear in the manual on how to turn it on, the various features, and how you should operate it. After reading the manual I assumed I could just perform my test section just based off of that alone, however I was not able to get it to start zapping until paired with the app. Once paired with the app however it seemed to have no problem being used outside of the app. You power it on, click the big button once, it heats up, then you press into your skin and zap. So TLDR: install the app, pair it, and follow the instructions through the app. Afterwards you can read the manual for some more detailed written instructions and safety warnings but the app is required for initial setup (so far as I could tell). If the manual had made it clear that the first step was pairing it with the app, I would have given this 5 stars.

This is an excellent product for at home easy hair removal and smooth skin!! It’s easy to use and intuitive! And for those of you worried it might be painful, it’s not!! One of my favorite features is the ability to switch between a super gentle mode (for those more sensitive areas) and a stronger mode (for those less sensitive larger areas with thicker hair)!! All while knowing that you’re safe because the device is constantly scanning your skins health and will alert you if there’s a problem. It also will help you to improve your technique each time you use it, to help you achieve maximum effectiveness and ease of use! Another feature I love, especially for someone like myself who has a hard time keeping track of certain things like schedules, is the ability to have the app on my phone and get reminders for each session that I have scheduled for each part of my body, so that over a longer period of time I will be able to treat each part of my body in the correct intervals so that nothing gets missed or overdone! What an excellent way to help keep track of your body’s progress and insure that nothing gets neglected!! Like having an office to remind you about your appointments! But you never have to go to an office!!! You can do it all from home, or wherever you’d like, since the device is also very travel friendly!!! And great quality! Over all a 10/10 product in my book!

In the beginning it was working perfectly fine but after 3 months of being using it I have to press the button more than 3 times and it smells like something is burning. I don’t know what to do lol, I paid almost 500$ and I’m afraid one of these days it stops working

My Experience: I was nervous at first — as someone with brown skin, I worried “what if it burns me, what if it can’t tell the difference, what if I’m not hairy enough?” To be safe, I started on a hidden area. But this has been a pleasant surprise: no burns, no pain, and it really does what it’s supposed to. After a few sessions, I can see the difference and instead of returning it, I’ve decided to keep going and continue banishing my body hair. Pros: - Smart sensor adjusts safely to skin tone — worked well on my brown skin - No burning, no pain (I was pretty scared) - Noticeable hair reduction after a few sessions - Multiple attachments for different areas - Comes with a nice storage case Cons: - Needs consistent use to see results (This could be that I am overly cautious and doing smallish areas at a time) - Corded only — some may prefer cordless flexibility

I am excited to have my own Braun IPL hair removal system. (I don't like visiting salons for hair removal, so I am thrilled to have my own unit I can use in the privacy of my own home. ) This Braun is everything I had hoped for. It is a beautiful unit which is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It comes with extra heads for the different parts of your body. Set up is easy using the QR code and the Braun app. The app insures a flawless safe experience. It keeps track of your sessions and sends you reminders. And it has a coverage tracker, so there are no missed spots. Awesome!! And good news, the sensation is extremely mild without discomfort. I think the price is reasonable when you compare that this is the same cost as 1 full body salon hair removal treatment. But purchasing you own Braun gives you years of use and you will actually save money. Best part, I started seeing results after the first treatment. I am very happy with my purchase and I am looking forward to having smooth skin. 5 Stars

I have been hesitant to splurge on the cost of a laser hair removal device for a very long time. BUT, I finally did it. These devices are apparently part of my advertising algorithm. I decided to finally purchase after hating the hairs I miss on my knees. I am also pretty modest so allowing someone else to laser my body just didn’t make me comfortable. That’s on top of the cost of going to a facility and the timing constraints. I don’t have super dark hair so the need to be extremely precise wasn’t an issue either. It did take me a hot minute to figure out this device and the best ways to use it after preparing. The pamphlet is very helpful. At first, I think I had the setting to high for the sensitive location of my armpits. That probably wasn’t the best place to learn the ropes. It does get warm but it not overly irritating to the skin or for those with a low pain tolerance, It does get warm but I like that there are differing levels that it can be set to. I am hoping to see the desired results and can check back in. The demerits of this product that lead to a 4 are because I am picky.... I would love this product to be easier to travel with and use where you aren’t required to have an outlet. I also know that some of these products have cooling built in, which I can understand why that is. The only other qualm is that it is a bit more expensive than other products. Since I haven’t tried others, I am unsure of the difference in quality.
