Vita Coco - Pure Coconut Water (500ml x 12) - Naturally Hydrating - Packed With Electrolytes - Gluten Free - Full Of Vitamin C & Potassium

I have tried several brands of coconut water and this is my favorite by far! It doesn't have the added sugar or pulp like some of the cheaper brands in the can. It's all natural and smooth tasting. I like the 17oz box because it has the twist off cap. I workout a lot and on days with a lot of cardio, I will drink a bottle of this before and/or after my workout. It has more potassium than 2 bananas, more electrolytes than a sports drink and it's all natural with no fat or cholesterol. It's low in calories and keeps my hydrated. I don't know what else I could ask for in a drink. It also seconds for a great hangover cure. After a long night of drinking alcohol, I slam a bottle of Vita Coco, with some advil and I never wake up with a hangover. I have difficulty finding it from the local grocery store and when I do find it, it's actually slightly more expensive than purchasing and having it delivered to my doorstep! Some of my friends like the vita coco with pineapple or mango, but I like the Pure Coconut Water!

Coconut water is a naturally sweet beverage that provides essential electrolytes including potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium and phosphorous. It is far healthier than heavily dyed, artificially sweetened sports drinks. I purchase Vita Coco Coconut Water, Pure, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) regularly and include it in my smoothies and other drinks. My daughter likes to drink it straight up. WHAT I LIKE: • Its mild flavor does not seep through when added to other things, which is important to me because I cannot stand the taste of coconut. • It is a healthy addition to my green smoothies, especially after a hard workout at the gym. • It is appealing to my kids as a drink and so much better than soda. • The coconut water is not in plastic which leaches toxic chemicals. • The twist on lid makes the coconut water storable if I don’t finish the carton. • Added to frozen strawberries, lime juice and tequila, coconut water naturally sweetens margaritas. • It tastes fantastic blended with frozen pineapple. WHAT I DON’T LIKE: • From time to time I will get a case of coconut water with defective lids. I really love the Vita Coco Coconut Water, Pure, 16.9 Ounce (Pack of 12) and would definitely recommend it. I keep a stock of this on hand at all times.

Vita Coco IS 100% pure; not all coconut waters can claim that! It tastes like you just stuck a straw in a green coconut and sipped the refreshing nectar and went "Ahhhh". It is certainly refreshing and that is supported not only by medical people but by a friend of mine from India. So who you gonna believe, heh? On a trip to India, while we were driving from Bangalore (now Bangalaroo) to Mysore, I noticed a lot of people stopping along side the road to buy coconuts from vendors. I asked my friend what that was all about. Did they like to eat coconuts THAT much?? He told me that they were stopping to get a refreshing drink to help them fight the effects of the heat. Coconut water gave them a good resistance to the heat and refreshed them. Intriguing, I thought at the time. But later on when I discovered the product made by Vita Coco all that discussion came flooding back to me. The amount of potassium is great compared to bananas. I DO get an uplifting feeling knowing that I'm not only getting a tasty drink (I like that 17 ounce size) but it has such great benefits of refreshment during the hot season. CHEERS!!

I read some of the reviews and could not figure why this product or service got negative reviews. I bought Vita Coco in stores several times and liked everything about it. Reminded me about the taste of a fresh coconut when I growing up in South India. There was nothing more refreshing than drinking coconut water in the summer months in South India. Yes, just like there bad coconuts, the coconut water can also be bad sometimes. In nearly 50 packaged and several 100 natural coconuts, I can probably count the number of time I had sour coconut water. Unfortunately the Amazon.com order was one of them. Now to the service. After I mentioned this to Amazon, they sent me a second order FREE of charge. To my bad luck the second order was from the same batch (11279P) as the first one and tasted as sour as the first. If you look at the package, it is sealed so there is no way for Amazon to tell what batch they are sending. It is much like in retail a store (buy something, if it is defective return or exchange it). Long story short, as mentioned in the first line, I still don't understand some of the negative review about the product and service.

Vita Coco coconut water is a wonderful, good tasting, health enhancing product. I really like it, like it very much, drink it all the time. But, as other reviewers have noted, the containers are very vulnerable to bursting in shipment. My few first couple of shipments arrived in perfect shape. But then one container was simply missing from a soggy box two shipments ago. I let that go because everything else was fine. But my most recent shipment never even arrived. UPS declared it "undeliverable" and returned it to Amazon in Indiana (along with a Splenda shipment in the same box). After that . . . nothing. No refund. No replacement. No word from Amazon at all. And no way to contact Amazon to ask for a refund without my agreeing to return the package which they already had received. In my frustration, I have chosen this review to perhaps catch someone's attention at Amazon. I remain a great fan of and a great user of Amazon, but this one time . . . Catch 22. So, to repeat, I think Vita Coco is terrific. It does need better packaging however, so buyer beware. And Amazon, please fix your website so loyal customers like me don't get caught in a cul-de-sac, having to pay for products we never even received.

I am from South India where coconut water is so very common. The street vendors are so frequent that one can find at least 2 of 'em within a mile. The taste is as good as drinking it directly out of a coconut which I used to have almost everyday to survive the heat there. My wife and I loved Peach & Mango and Natural flavor. I did try the pineapple flavor from Sheetz didn't like it much but again ones food is another's poison. You be the judge of it. We used to get this for 25 rupees which is approx 50cents per coconut but this works out to $3 per tetra pack. The one thing I should definitely mention is that the additional fruit flavors doesn't tamper the original taste of the coconut water. But is added with the perfect ratio that you enjoy both the flavors. I don't take this very cold but loved it at 10 degrees less than the room temperature. I love it so much that I have subscribed 2 boxes of 17oz to be delivered monthly. My wife and I finished the first batch with 2 weeks of its delivery.

I just love Vita Coco coconut water and have been buying it locally for several years---I like the mild flavour and love drinking it after a workout. I recently moved to a more rural area and found that the price on Amazon was much better than what I could get at my nearby grocery store. I normally purchase the 11.1 oz boxes but decided that the best price was to be had on the 17 oz tetrapak. Unfortunately, my first case arrived a week or so ago and I was absolutely appalled! The coco water was virtually undrinkable. It was very sour, slightly discolored, and nothing like the drink to which I'd become accustomed. I immediately contacted Amazon, and they agreed to ship me another box at no charge. The second case was similarly poor in quality. I told Amazon that I'd like a refund so that I could order a different size. The case of Vita Coco 100% Pure Coconut Water, 11.1-Ounce Containers (Pack of 12) just arrived, and it has been only marginally better in taste, if at all. I don't know if Amazon is storing the coconut water improperly, if Vita Coco has produced a bad batch (they all have exp dates in October of 2012), or if they've somehow altered their source or coco water/Vit C mixture (all boxes say they are produced in the Philippines). I plan to contact Vita Coco directly to find out the problem, and will also be requesting a third refund from Amazon. These boxes taste so bad that I plan to pour them all down the sink in order to recycle the tetrapaks. Very disappointed.

We've sampled a few different coconut waters and Vita Coco is by far the best tasting and most consistent. Aside from the expected health benefits being an isotonic beverage, Vita Coco is also supplemented and loaded with Vitamin C so its an extra boost to your workout or post-workout routine. Plus its a nice way to supplement your fluid intake throughout the day when another glass of water just isn't doing it for you. Wish it was less expensive, but right now it is the most competitively priced quality product available.
