Good product
I've used this off & on for several years now, on assorted small scars acquired through lots of outdoor activities, & I've been pleased with the results. I'd be getting the "advanced" Mederma gel if Amazon offered any - can't understand why that's not here!

Mederma scar gel
I guess I expected too much from this product. The gel does moisturize my skin, but I don't think I've seen any difference in the appearance of my surgical scar. Glad that I purchased this on Amazon and got this item for a very low price, instead of paying the retail price.

Dont waste your $$
This not only did not eliminate the scar/smoothen the skin/fix discoloration but I also had an allergy reaction to it to a point that my scar now looks bumpy and very red. I also asked so many doctors and dermatologists and not even one of them suggested mederma. Theres no strong scientific evidence on how it’d improve it and they said if people using mederma uses a moisturizer/vaseline will also get the same effect.

The most effective scar care gel
My skin doesn't heal very fast, so I've been using this gel for many years now on acne scars and other scratches and stuff. I think this works after a long time of use... but requires some patience!
