This is a set of actual ceramic knives, not ceramic coated. I had purchased one I loved but unfortunately, I broke it! It was my favorite knife and I'd not found any at the store to replace mine. I was excited to find this set on Amazon. Ceramic stays sharp! It will become your favorite go to knife. I have Cutco knives and still I'll grab a ceramic knife first! I was pleased with the price. These have smooth, rubberized handles and a nice grip and hand fee. They have a nice weight to them as well. I cut thin slices on a small 2 inch ripe tomato and the knife went through it like butter. Ceramic knives are great, but they can break. Make sure you treat them kindly. I'll add pics of the knives to this review. One pic I'm adding shows the knife held up to the light showing the translucency... That they are ceramic not metal. I'll included a picture of the sliced small ripe tomato too. I would absolutely recommend this product!

They're sharp, very sharp. Great care is needed as they're very delicate. These are great for regular chopping but not for anything hard. They do chip. Overall they are great as long taking care of.

They are just ok. Very apparent when you start using them that it is a low end product. I will purchase a better quality knife next time since I do a lot of vegie chopping. They are ok for nominal use in the kitchen.

Great price for trip of decent ceramic knives. I broke a previously purchased pair (don't drop on kitchen floor) and purchased this set. Only issue is I thought the biggest one was a little longer but all work fine and serve different purposes.

Bought these as transitional knives for a move three years ago. Broke the tip off one being clumsy. Just the other day I was cutting the top off a microwave bag and nearly removed my index finger holding the bag. cut through the bag, my nail, and the finger below. It cut it so clean that I didn't notice I had been cut until I saw the blood. Hurts like hell now but I even used it to remove the rest of the nail so I could clean it out and bandage it.

Sharp knives but they break too easily. The one i was using broke within few weeks of less than regular use.

I wanted to add some inexpensive knives as back-up for my Shun knives. These are a fraction of the price and are perfect. I like them as much as my Shuns for small knife use.

I have another ceramic knife and have had it for several years and liked it a lot very sharp and can slice paper thin slices very well. These knives did well for a few uses and then lost their edge. can't resharpen without an expensive tool. My old knife is astill sharp and going strong. Can't find another one like it,
