We use this as part of precautions for conducting assessments at a clinic for treating concussions. It works really well for the most part, being accurate and wry easy to use. It’s as accurate as you can expect, sometime it takes a few attempts to get a reading of used on a pediatric that has smaller arms. Nonetheless it does its job well for the price.

Excellent fit

We bought this cuff for my husband since the regular size cuff did not get accurate readings. This one has worked well we’ve had no problems with it. We’ve even took the machine into the doctor to have her compared to their readings and they were spot on.

I really like the size and value of this oversized cuff for my blood pressure monitor. It reads as accurately as my doctor's cuff at his office. It's lightweight and easily adjustable for your arm width. It's extremely easy to use with the various Adapters it comes with for different BP machines. Also I will praise the customer service of the seller as they recently promptly took care of an issue I had with the item. I am very happy with this product.

Warning! If your arm has a lot of fat deposits like mine (18-19 inches circumference and flabby), your upper arm blood pressure readings may be less accurate than a wrist cuff. There are medical studies spurred by bariatric surgeons (found through Science Direct dot com) that have clearly shown that for the morbidly obese populations, an upper arm cuff is not the best measure. Depending on your individual physiology, perhaps the least accurate method of determining your blood pressure. Blood pressure cuff sold here seemed well made with no defects noted in operation. It works like the extra large cuff reluctantly dug out of some drawer at the doctor’s office. I’ve tried this XL upper arm cuff in a number of positions, consulted professional videos, have endured extreme pain (9/10 +) and my blood pressure readings have been the same laughably high readings often received in a medical setting. Medical staff are trained to tell you that upper arm BP measurement is the only accurate measurement. This is simply not true. There is an intravenous method done rarely in medical/surgical settings that is the gold standard. For this reason we know that all other devices have their limits in manufacture and method of use. Wrist monitors can modestly skew towards a higher systolic on the general population, but for larger arms of a higher fatty composition, they are much more accurate and reliable. Your average doc is probably not aware of this either. I encourage you to take control of how you are processed in this medical system by figuring this out for yourself. Me and my flabby arms have personally given up on upper arm monitors for the following reasons: 1. Upper arm readings vary considerably from minute to minute 2. Readings are inexplicably much, much higher than the wrist monitor by an average of 20-50 mm HG 3. Cuff inflation causes extreme pain ( 9/10 or more — in the realm of giving birth or passing kidney stones). It is unfortunate that medical staff is trained to dismiss your pain and your concerns. Their contracts with medical institutions often doesn’t allow them to change strategies. Some of them are disgusted by your obesity and could care less. The better docs discount the findings somewhat but don’t have time to get into it. You cannot subjectively guess at your blood pressure by the way you feel, so you need an objective and reliable method for monitoring. It is up to you in the end to figure this out. Don’t give up on yourself — do continue to monitor yourself and track your results the best way you can.

it really almsot fits my very large and wide arms, there is plenty of space once i wrapped it around for the stethscope, , how ever if you are usign an atuomatic blood pressure unit or even a semi automatic blood pressure unit, as in a mnaul inflation with digital parts and maechanination, the cuff will work out for you, perhaps, ?, other htna this or that, i reccomend stetchy matierl over he material of this cuff, as well as a custom fit cuff, for tohse with odd size limbs such as mine, , this cuff almsot fits my arm, , the velcore closures for this cuff seem off, i ma not sure if that is he intended, or not, just seemned strange is all, at any rate, it is well made, and can be clned if hand washed crfully, and then dried in dryer on a low to mid heat for around 6 - 8 , minutes be sure to check carfully as your cuff material could shrink beyond eh intended or uninteneded , , thank you everyone, some soaps are not good for it's meterial cleaning, i mean the cuff it self , not he bladder or tubing, as the tube can be removed it seems for meh bladder it self, and he bladder cna be rmeoved as well, which makes clenaing eh matieral ideal at least for me, , see i neh old days when hey clend a blood pressure cuffthey used gas to clean and sterlize the cuff , yes eh whole thing, , they acutally toguht it hlped, yes gross right, any wyas, have a good one folks, thank you so very much :), nomastaye,

I had to wait a while to try this out as the machine was back at work (FIFO). easy to fit to my machine and comes with many adaptors to ssuit various brands. plenty of room for my bigger arms. It would serve most sizes but would probably be a bit cumbersome for kids.

Bought this for my elderly father. It fits him perfectly and works with his Omron blood pressure monitor. Good value and seems to read accurately compared to existing standard cuff. He’s happy with it. Good value for money.

La qualità dei prodotto è ottima , gli attacchi che sono in dotazione (4) lo fanno adattare bene al misuratore di pressione che si possiede. Unica pecca sono le misure .. infatti ho preso l' extra large perché in base a quello scritto la misura più piccola sembrava non idonea a un braccio adulto, invece andava bene .
