Lightning to 3.5mm audio splitter
Works as intended. Had slight problems using the line in but will work in multiple setups once you understand how it should be plugged in. Great customer service as well.

iPhone could not see audio input from this adapter.
Terrible product. Does not record audio into an iPhone despite audio input on this adapter. I would avoid at all costs!

Confusing at first, but worked! - iPhone 12 Pro, 2019 MacBook
Hey, this might help. Instructions that come with it are poor. White headset icon side of plug works great for a combo mic-headset. But if your mic is TRS, like my Rode Professional lavalier, and you say, "Well, hey, I'll just plug it in the mic side," it might not work without the splitter. (It didn't for my iPhone 12, anyway.) But this sweet little company gives you a splitter cord (AND a lighting charger cord!) with the adaptor. USE IT! ... Photos show how it worked for me. Plug your mic into the 1/8 jack receptable of the splitter that has the mic icon on it (see photo). Then, make sure the TRRS plug of the splitter's other end is plugged into the *headset-icon* side of the white adapter. Check this out: To hear playback without having to unhook it all? Just plug your headset or earbugs into the headset-icon side of the splitter and you can also hear it. The splitter is actually a "joiner," then, isn't it? It combines an external input (mic) and external output (headset/speakers) into what would be a standalone communications headset. Then you just plug the splitter's (er, joiner's) TRRS plug into the adaptor and voila! Joy-ness! Not required for my cameras, which compatible with any external mic's 1/8" (3.5 mm) TSR plug, no adaptors needed. NOW I can use the same mic with all my recording devices. Sweet!

Works if you know a little about audio
I needed a device to use my iPhone with my studio mic and other audio sources while monitoring the phone call through headphones. The most important technical aspect you need to understand is that the microphone input is line level. I send the headphone out jack on my audio interface to the slot with the microphone icon on the device. Headphones plug into the slot with the headphone icon. Lightning plug goes to the iPhone. A great feature of the device is that your mic audio is sent to the headphones so you can hear your own voice…it keeps you from yelling. It works perfectly for me!!! I can send my entire audio playbook to the “mic in” along with the feed from my mic. The video is audio from several devices…MIDI keyboard, synth, electronic drum kit via MIDI, Streamdeck, Desktop audio, Shure Super 55 on a tube pre with extensive effects in and out of the box…nothing like a $20 device to open new avenues for audio sprinkles…

Would recommend for an android
Worked like a charm, but the Bluetooth part is a bit confusing when it comes to the iPhone. Would recommend for android phone I have both.

IF YOU CANT USE MIC READ ME!!
WORKS PERFECT! If you are having issues with your microphone not working (on bandlab) READ THIS REVIEW! So the package comes with a splitter to go into the adapter. Plug that splitter into the headphone part, then plug in your aux headphone and TRS microphone into their respective ports in the SPLITTER. Now set the input device ( for whatever program you're using it on the ) to headset microphone and BOOM.

Okay, but didn’t last long
This is a great idea and I think could be a really useful product. However, we used this on a road trip so we could have headphones to listen to music, games, etc. it stopped working before the trip was over. I really like the idea of this. It’s small and easy to store, easy to use, just didn’t have durability or last long at all.
