These heel socks are a genius idea for softening heels, keeping skin supple and ending cracked heel pain. I have not washed them yet but I would think they could be machine washed in cold water and air dried to avoid damaging the gel. One size fits all. Very helpful for those with chronic cracked heels.

I wore these for three nights with some added ointment inside It worked very well for healing the cracks on my heels I’ve only used these stocks once but they seem like they are very good quality

The difference these heel socks made after just one week is so phenominal that I immediately ordered more. AND they make an entire sock that is gel-lined for sleeping in after you moisturize, as well. They fit well and you can wear them around the house or flip flops or with house shoes. I am not crazy for the added scent, but it is not bad and goes away after you hand wash them before wear. I love the cute colors and the black/gray. They also make the heel socks in a fuzzy version with more color variety. My heels stay cracked and dry because I wear open heeled Birkenstocks almost exclusively and jog/walk/hike in totally open minimalist barefoot sandals (Totems-LOVE). NOTHING has helped me keep my heels soft and healthy or heal them once they crack. They were SO bad. Just the first day with these were amazing. By day two my cracks were healing. By the end of the week, my heels were soft again. I use these all the time and dry heels are not a problem anymore. They are inexpensive enough that they a totally worth a try. So do it!!!! And they shipped to me the next day!

These are not exactly what I expected. They are just heel socks with a sort of imbedded silicone piece over the heel (see photo of sock inside out). The instructions say to lather to your feet in your favorite lotion, then these are applied on top. The socks themselves do not seem to have any sort of moisturizing, using the socks just holds your lotion over your heel, preventing if from being absorbed into a regular sock via the silicone patch. They are comfortable, appropriate amount of stretch, not too tight, and fit over the heel well. But, when you apply the lotion they can be a little slippery. I still think these have been helpful, but the description is a bit misleading.
